:smashfreaShockey ate dirt...so funny:laughing2

Re: Shockey swings @ practice
The Texans defense looks like a tightknit group. Shockey messed with the wrong guys and got slammed. :spank:

Re: Shockey swings @ practice
Notice that Shockey's teammates make little effort to come to his defense.
I've always liked Shockey...NOT! |
Re: Shockey swings @ practice
Count on a two game suspension for both of them.

If that happens Goodell should be fired. |

not so much |
Re: Shockey swings @ practice
LOL!! It looked like Shockey got slammed face first into the ground then got swarmed by blue jerseys. His teammates were probably laughing at him cause he's such a dick.

Hey if you embarrass the shield then you have to pay the price. Though now that I think about it the more likely scenario will probably result in a fine for both players. Especially since both players had a chance to walk away if only for a brief moment. From watching it I can see that this is what happened. After the play Shockey threw a kind of Kobe like elbow. Ryans didn't appreciate it and got in Shockey's face with the end result being a push. Shockey basically ended up accepting the challenge and as a result we get a scuffle between Ryans and Shockey. Too funny.

Re: Shockey swings @ practice
I hated Shockey because he was a Giant and he always toasted our linebackers but I have always respected how he played.
The play where his helmet comes off and he takes on a couple of Eagles is one of my favorite football plays ever... |
Re: Shockey swings @ practice
I always thought Shockey was an overated bum. If he had played anywhere but NYC, he would have been considered a good not great TE w/ attitude problems. In NYC, he gets the hype machine working for him.
My favorite plays of his are the one where the pass is picked off in front of him and he turns to bitch while our guy (forget who) scores a TD and the one where he is celebrating on the sideline, hamming it up for the cameras, while the other team scores a touchdown. To me, they typify this idiot. |
I always enjoyed how he'd be whining to refs for a non-existent pass interference call while the opposition is returning an interception right past him. |

He was celebrating something on the side lines and the other team had a big played and scored a TD. Not sure of the out come of the game. |

Jeremy Shockey celebrates a little early after teammate Jay Feely's last second field goal. Feely missed that one wide left and two more in overtime as the Giants lost to the Seahawks. (via)
from Brianbehrend.com |
Re: Shockey swings @ practice
Jeremy Shockey gets the premature celebration award of the year. If you didn’t see the Giants vs Seahawks game I’ll get you up to date. Giants were attempting a 40 yard field goal on the final play of regulation to win the game. The kick went up and the field goal barely went wide left. The cameras caught Jeremy Shockey’s reaction as he thought the field goal was good. It’s priceless. Watch it over and over again. You won’t get tired of it. I’m still not. Let’s hear what you think about it!
I think begging for the call is just status quo for NFL receivers these days. |

Except that, on this particular play, Shockey was arguing the call BEFORE THE PLAY WAS OVER!!! As a Skin is running back the INT and good ole JS is more concerned about arguing the call oblivious to the play. Wish I could find the video - It's a hoot. He's such an ass. |
