Start with a professional GM. But, I agree. You can't lay this loss on Dan Snyder.

Why not lay this crap on synder? He owns the team dosen't he? That makes him resposisible for what and how this team is run and operated.

Re: When will Synder wake up?

What do you want him to do?? The big name HC's out there didnt want to coach this yr. He brings in the top talent, he TRIED to bring in a probowl QB and we couldnt do it. He can FORCE the team to play well. Blame the coaches, the defense doesnt attack and the offense is so watered down to the point that its just hard to watch.
Who do YOU want to be the GM??

Well the way he runs this team what good coach in his right mind would want to coach here to begin with?

Thats laughable, Snyder has admitted his past mistakes, but he will do anything and everything to make this team a winner. Its ignorant to blame him for the loss!

Who did you want to coach? I liked Spagnuolo becaus ehis defense attacks but he turned us down. You want Josh McDaniels?? we didnt pick him and at the time he said he was too young to be a HC.
Who do you want to be the HC that was willing to take it at the time the search was on?

PLEEEEEAAAASSSEEE not another sub par 8-8 season I really had high hopes, but Campbell still looked herky jerky and scared to me Receivers couldn't get open. The Giants showed us how to be professionals that have really worked on there craft during the off season, where we look like a team that thought we could just turn it on during the regular season.

Re: When will Synder wake up?

Professional GM and to build through the draft. The list of stupid ass free agents we have given money to is laughable and how we give away draft picks is unforgivable. The FO deserves alot grief during Snyder tenure so far. Take a look at the FO of Pats, Steelers and Giants those guys do it right and rarely overpay. I was checking out some of the contracts of our current guys off Warpath salary cap, man its unbelievable.

Again i'm not blaming him for the loss today.
But the redskins problems did not happen over night. They started several years back.

Ive always liked Dom Capers as a DC... too bad we couldnt have brought him in before the packers snatched him up.

Re: When will Synder wake up?

Look, Dan woke up and stopped blaming the coaches, the recievers, the offensive line, and the running backs. He releaized that it was the quarterback. He tried to get one for us, but it did not pan out. We have a good team. We will beat the lesser teams, and lose to the elite teams. We will do it with defense, and not offense. I think we can still be ten and six.

Re: When will Synder wake up?

He tried to go out and get Jay Cutler, who has thrown 4 passes to green shirts tonight.

T.O.Killa 09-13-2009 09:52 PM

Re: When will Synder wake up?

Well, I just watch Cutler throw three passes in a row. The first two were dropped inerceptions and the third was an interception. He followed that a couple of possesions later with another interception. So maybe we should all relize that we lost to one of the best teams in the NFL. Maybe the reason that our offense looked so bad is because of Mathis Kiwanuka, Justin Tuck and Osi Umenuoria. Lets all just be happy that we are playing the Rams next week.

Cutler is way over rated, we should be glad Danny restrained himself. I rather have Campbell.
Cutler is way over rated, we should be glad Danny restrained himself. I rather have Campbell.
Though they are not at all the same player, they are pretty interchangable production wise. A team could win with either of them.

Obviously, you didn't watch the game. I have issues with the coaching and playcalling today, but we have more talent then New York. The Giant lineman will wake up tomorrow and wonder how the hell they won the game.

Jacobs was castrated...

Come on it is one game. If a patternd develops then yeah it will be similar to last season. Next week we are at home against the hapless Rams. It should be a easy game to tune our offense up. If we lose to the Rams, then you should panic!!!!!!!

JWsleep 09-13-2009 10:13 PM

Re: When will Synder wake up?

Here's my feeling on all this. We lost on the road to the Giants. Even Gibbs used to do that on a regular basis, even in Gibbs I.

If we lose to some of the scrub teams coming up, then, yeah, fire everyone, make all the Madden trades we want, get Vince Lombardi back, etc.

But after 1 week, I think this is a bit overboard. Yes, I know, we lost games last year, we looked similar, etc. But I, for one, am going to spend the week posting "don't panic" posts.

(If we lose to the Rams, however...)

So what do we do right now? Fire all of the coaches and start from scratch in September? That's the recipe for having a Lions-like season.

Well you typically don't fire the coach of your most effective unit. He also runs a scheme that none of our players particularly fit.

The Rams had "hap." Then they lost it. Now they are "hapless."

Well im just sayin, everyone seems to want us to go to a 3-4. that was our chance to get a good DC to help in the transition.. he did coach Jacksonvilles D as a 4-3 so he can do both.

We should not just asume, or take for granted we're going to beat the Rams. We made that mistake last year, that team came in here hung around and kept the score close, got a couple breaks and walked away a winner. I have never been one to believe there are games in the NFL that you should win. If you don't show up and play your A game, any team can beat you on any given day. Based on the way we played in many areas today, I wouldn't predict we would beat Mary Jane. Yes, I know the Rams are not the Giants, but I'm not taking any team for granted.

Re: When will Synder wake up?

You know what? You're right. We should just blow this sh** up. One year and one game into a new regime, we should start from f***ing scratch again.

B/c, you know that's what ALL the historically successful teams do.
