Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
Awesome hit.
|
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
LF is fearless, when Jacobs ran over LL Fletch made the next few tackles solo.
|
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
Landry is in the background watching a tackling machine getting it done. Go redskins!
|
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
Everytime I see this I just can't help but think they both got slammed. I know Jacobs got decleated, but he must be around the same size and weight as Fletch cause Fletch gets immediatly pushed backwards as Jacobs is coming off the ground.
No doubt though good hit. It definitly gave Jacobs a wake up call. He now knows he aint gunna have an easy day running over the Skins all day. Be prepared to take some punishment or possibly getting hurt trying run over people. |
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
Good stick by Fletch.
Gotta love that guy. |
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
certainly an improvement on what landry was able to do last year...

"So that's how you do it. Hmmm." - Laron Landry. |
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
yeah that was a great hit, boy i was hoopin and hollerin on that one. i give jacobs credit thoo, looked like he had his bell rung for a sec but got up and did some barking afterwards.
fletch is the man, thanks double g! |
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
another thread used this video talking about momentum. If you look at where they collide, they both go back about a yard. That is two tough dudes going full speed, and making it look like it ain't nothin but a thing. I would be recouperating for days from that hit alone!
|
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
It's great to finally have this animation to counter the Giants fans EVERYWHERE who constantly post the Landry missed tackle.

The problem with that is they will say yea he finally hit him after he picked up 8 yards. |
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
i hate brandon jacobs, but if he was on the redskins i would absolutely love him

you have to include his stat line for the game, and how he was basically pulled in favor of their other back. overall though he is a load, no doubt. and personally I hope he runs all over Dallas on Sunday, and that Fletcher gets even more hits on Stephen Jackson |
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
Looking at the vid, Fletch hit him right when both BJ's feet were in the air, making it easy to spin him in the air. And hitting him on the chest is a good way to knock that head back hehehe... Good timing.

Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
The most underrated LB maybe in the history of the NFL, this guy is simply a stud.. I think he's just as good ad urlacher maybe better!

"missed tackel"???You mean the hit and run.:smashfrea |
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
edited for stupid observation redundancy.
|
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
I LOVED that play Sunday. London is the leader on defense no doubt and I think the defense needs more of that hard-hitting swagger.

You've proven my point about Giants fans! |
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
Remember, the Rams gave up on London Fletcher, let him go to Buffalo. He may have a chip on his shoulder versus the Rams. Look out Steven Jackson, you just got stuck by the human tackling machine.
|
Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
He doesn't need a chip, he goes all out EVERY game. :)

Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
After a few more big hits this season, he'll get what he deserves - a trip to the probowl.
I think this is another impact that Haynesworth has on the redskins D. He frees the linebackers up more to make plays. |

Re: London Fletcher hit on Jacobs
You know someones going to make a video to this with either "Let the bodies hit the floor" or "Boom here come the boys from the South" in the background. On a side note those two songs need to the hit the floor dead and blow up respectively.
