Who should be signed to the active roster?
 

Larry Weisman says that it will NOT be Pete Kendall, and probably not an OT.

I think it will be a Linebacker, not sure who, but they may pull off another team's practice squad. Any thoughts?

Rinehart. Might as well and see what you have. If he can't do anything then we can cut his ass as soon as the seasons over and draft someone else.

If it is a LB it should be Marcus Washington...he's better than any SLB we have on the roster and probably still a better fit in Blache's scheme than anybody available.

...didn't he also work all off-season w/ one of the trainers everybody raves about in AZ as a guy who has helped aging players rebound?

No one is really worth bumping up from the practice squad. I personally would like to see Eddie Williams (FB/TE) get a shot but given the fact that Zorn hasn't even tried to use Kelly, Davis, or Mitchell in the Red Zone leads me to believe that bumping up Eddie is virtually pointless.

Loved Pete Kendall when he was a younger player, plus he was always a great interview. He's 36 now with arthritic knees and he can't practice during the week. Look for them sign a player from the ps, everyone that can play is on someone's roster. Maybe they'll consider bringing Bridges back, at least he's practiced in the system.

By gosh man I like the way you think! My guess would be Young or Robinson off the PS. Young played well on teams in the preseason didn't he? Whoever it is will probably be inactive most of the time but at least we could protect one of our PS players by moving him up.
