Gmanc711 10-17-2004 11:34 AM

I dont know if I'm excited or nervous

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 11:39 AM

I'm thinking that drunk may be the way to go with this game.
I'm thinking that drunk may be the way to go with this game.
I'm heading to my local sports bar soon. The few of us Skins fans there usually don't drink so early (10 am out here), but we may reconsider today and have a few before noon.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 11:52 AM

I'm at home Southern Cali, RedRock, and I have a well stocked fridge.......

1 and 4..........

MTK 10-17-2004 12:01 PM

Here's hoping that today Brunell starts to silence the critics and has a solid game start to finish and helps guide the team to a much needed 'W'.

Here's also to hoping that Portis breaks out, has a big day and doesn't cough it up.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 12:04 PM

I'll second that. If by some awful trick of the gods I don't believe in we end up with no offense again, I'd like to see the D crush and score some points of their own.

Other D's and special teams are scoring on our Offense. Why can't we?

Daseal 10-17-2004 12:04 PM

WE WANT... CHICAGO?

Here's to hoping Brunell gets added to the unable to perform list, it's the only way stubborn gibbs will make the change!

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 12:08 PM

For the sake of team chemistry and belief in his system Coach Gibbs HAS to stick with his decision. Although it's not all on Brunell it's been him more than anyone else in error.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 12:10 PM

Fox Pre-Game show: Brunell said that if they lose today they (Redskins) may look to the future. Gibbs is quoted as saying that things are miserable and the team is desperate. Ouch.
I'm thinking that drunk may be the way to go with this game.
I got myself nice and blind drunk last night, so I can't even think about drinks right now.

I may change my mind after the first few possessions...

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 12:31 PM

Brud, you're a true professional. I salute you!

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 12:33 PM

lol. I played football for two hours yesterday so im freaking sore today. I dont get to watch the game today so someone has to fill me in on stuff on here.

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 12:35 PM

hey gmac, i sent you some trade offeres. I dont care about the trade going through for today. its for backups for me later in the season anyways. im me and let me know.

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 12:49 PM

man this sucks i cant watch the game...

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 12:58 PM

SnC, sometimes that can be a blessing in disguise....

I'll try to give you some play by play, but you may be better of going Internet Radio.

4TH RING 10-17-2004 12:59 PM

You've got to feel for Brunell. I don't think he ever envisisioned coming here and stinking it up so bad. If I were him & I had another bad game I would go to coach Gibbs and ask him to bench me. I just think this is a blessing in disguise for Ramsey. With everything that happened to him last year (foot injury, all the hit's,) I'm glad he's holding a clipboard. My point is that although Ramsey's healthy Brunnel in his 40's-bad hammy & all, could still scramble better than him. Avoiding the kind of hit's that Ramsey sustained all last year. I think if he was in there, defenses would be blitzing us that much more. IMO Ramsey has way to much courage for his own good. I think that's why Gibbs didn't get rid of him this offseason. You can't teach that, that's just something you either have or you don't. And I think all the great QB's have that. With the way the lines playing I don't think Gibbs want to see him in there getting killed.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:02 PM

I remember Ramsey scrambling for a critical first down last season.....he ain't that stiff, he was a victim of last seasons scheme.

Cush 10-17-2004 01:03 PM

new kicker

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:03 PM

Kimrin kicks off, returned to the Chicago 30. Here we go boys!

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 01:04 PM

ok lets do this.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:04 PM

Jones runs right for 4 yards.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:05 PM

Jones, right, gain of 2. They'll be 3 and out cos here comes the big blitz.

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 01:05 PM

i just remembered i paid for skins randio on nfl.com. ive only used it once

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:06 PM

Incomplete pass, close to a pick, blitz on the right side, their oline did well. Our secondary did great on coverage.

Punt is fair caught.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:06 PM

Fire it up SnC, it's got to be better than me.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:07 PM

first play, Rasby for 12 yards.

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:07 PM

Portis stopped for a loss. Damn!

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:08 PM

Portis makes a nice 12 yard run, Excellent!

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:08 PM

Portis running left for 2.

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 01:09 PM

damn this delay is going ot be annoying. but i just hooked up some big speakers to here the game. muted the game on tv

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 01:09 PM

alright portis lets have a big game todya!

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:09 PM

Brown bats down a WR screen pass, that was close to a serious fuck up.

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 01:10 PM

that screen really hasnt worked to well this year.

come on lets get somethign goin!

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:10 PM

Looks like PI on the secondary, with the Redskins needing 7 yards on 3rd down.

Damn, offsetting penalties. Replay 3rd down.

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 01:11 PM

atleast we get to replay the down instead of it just be holding

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:11 PM

Oh, come on! Chris Samuels is getting worked by Brown.

Ball thrown away.

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 01:12 PM

well two punts huh...

RedskinRat 10-17-2004 01:12 PM

Tupa got lucky on the punt. It took a great bounce or it would have been ugly.

SKINSnCANES 10-17-2004 01:13 PM

the game is at chicago right? i thought that meant i got to listen to redskin radio. seems like they always play the other team, sucks
