Name one team we could have beat this week!
Ok really who? Really maybe the cowboys because we usually make them our Super Bowl. Tampa? Detroit? forget it!
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!

|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
the rams, cause they were on a buy?
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
I think Idaho Vandals woulda beat us this week. That team and fans have huge heart and don't know the word 'quit'. I've seen a few games now and becoming my favorite college team. Less talent, more team.

Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
lol @ the high schools
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
Crap, I wanted to be the first to list a High School/Pee Wee team. Oh well, I guess I can take comfort in the fact that great minds think alike.

Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
u know it db!
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
Except for that 3rd qt I don't think I ever seen a Redskin team play that bad. It's getting that I don't watch it live any more.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
The Redskins. or maybe it would be a tie.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
We could have won yesterdays' game had we played with the same effort throughout that we exhibited to begin the second half.
This team has to learn that in order to win in this league, you have to play four qtrs. It has become useless to continue bombing the team about how bad they're playing, we all see it, and we all say the same things. I'll just continue to look for better days ahead even if not for this season. The remaining schedule does not look favorable to yield many wins, but life goes on and there will be another football season. |
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
Hell, let's name one team we'll beat the rest of the way. Not sure I see it.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
We will win a game on a lucky bounce. We haven't had too many balls deflected into our defenders hands for TDs, as Atlanta had yesterday. We are overdue for our share of luck. I was actually encouraged that the team didn't completely quit after being down 24-3 at the half.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
I was actually impressed that it lloked as we went in at half time and figured a few things out then actually made the plays. I think if the D would have made that stop as they should have then we would have actually had a chance in the game.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
Yeah it was disappointing to see the D give up that big run to Turner that sealed the deal. The offense was finally showing some life and the D let us down in a big spot. So typical. It always seems to go that way.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
There is a game, maybe two on the remaining schedule that we can win. To be honest, I think we're going to win them all, that's the mentality of a true die-hard despite the fact it's not realistic.

Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
manchester united( without Beckham)
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
We'll beat Denver this week. Denver has been playing really well but I'll bet that they overlook us. It is hard to focus on a non-conference game on the road against a weak team and such matchups make many Goliaths fall. I say that we win this week.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
The London Silly Nannies. LOL.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
I think we could take oakland...maybe
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
Considering we have a patch work O-line.....no one. We would struggle against any of the Canadian teams.
Can we not put the walking wounded on IR and bring in a buch of young healthy O-lineman from other teams practice squads and get them out their? Maybe see if they will work out for the future of the team? Edit: we should be auditioning O-lineman now for the future. In game auditions, live evaluations. |

A teams whose defensive line gives a worse effort then our offensive line on that given sunday |
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
We might be able to beat ourselves. But that's debatable.
Kelly probably would not get seperation against Rogers. Portis would probably get knocked the "F" out by Fletcher. ARE would get a late hit out of bounds by Laundry. Moss would drop a few passes against Hall whome he would beat by 5 yrds after Hall gave Moss a 20 yrd cushion. Campbell would get injured by AH and have to leave the game and Collins would throw an interceptions to Horton for a TD. Basically the Defense would win 7-0. |

I also was somewhat pleased that we played a little better offense but really, watching other nfl teams shows me we have a looooong way to go! |
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
For anyone who thinks we can beat Oak, remember they have a pretty stout D line, and we have... well some guys playing O-line.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
Oakland is the last hurray...maybe.

Horton would be stopped at the 12 and the D would stop the O, we would suffer through OT, and Cult Brennan would come off IR, throw to MM for the winning fade. |
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
cleveland browns
the redskins have a solid defense with a pretty good running game but for some reason you guys are passing 27.6 times per game compared to running 18.6 times per game.... you guys are a running team but are passing an awful lot...thats part of the issue |
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
resdkins are prolly the werst team this leauge has scene in years and years, the reelly blow chunks
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
are you related to firstdown?

You mean that the Redskins are worse than your command of English? Impossible. |

Are you related to Halodoc? lol

elamin24, Now that is a truly sad observation. I also was somewhat pleased that we played a little better offense but really, watching other nfl teams shows me we have a looooong way to go!
The sad part is I thought we would be a contender. I figured that Zorn would have figured out what worked in the 6-2 part of the season and added more play calls and we might be a 10-6 or 11-5 team. I figured Dallas would have their issues due to losing T.O. who was a major threat on their offense and Williams would be double teamed all season. I figured the Giants were on their down hill skid after their few yrs of greatness. I figured the Eagles would be bad with another yr of McNoodle. Sadly I was mistaken. |

Now that you mention it, your right we most likely would not score on D, but I foresee OT as well with a possible ending in a tie. Don't know how one pulls someone off of IR? and lastly....what's a fade route? Just kidding |
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
I did love seeing all of the anti Vinny and Snyder signs at the Georgia Dome. Pretty sad we have to go to other stadiums to voice our opinions.
|
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
We might beat the Raiders?
I really am excited to watch the Saints serve us a Patriots style beating this season. That should really expose how bad our team is. |
Re: Name one team we could have beat this week!
Wouldn't it be just like the Skins to get the lead on the Saints and lose in overtime or some shit like that. I can see it coming. I'm willing to bet the Saints won't blow us out though.
There's something about our bad play that even causes other good teams to play bad too! lol |
