Rinehart back in
And the musical chair act continues...

Re: Rinehart back in
Why not at this point....Montgomery seemed to struggle recently
|
Re: Rinehart back in
Alright. So, four weeks after signing Levi Jones, we decide to give the best five guys we have a try.
Nothing like being forced into doing the right thing. |
Re: Rinehart back in
This is good. they should be playing all the young players so that the new front office has some tape to look at when decide which of these guys to bring back next year.

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say rinehart won't be one of them, but maybe he can show something he didn't the first time he got a chance |
Re: Rinehart back in
I heard Jim say this on Redskins nation, but did not comment on it. Because sometimes Jimjust says stuff that is totally taken wrong. But, I am glad, I said many times I thought Rhinehart did well. I just figured I did'nt know what the hell I was looking at, because they seemed to yank him for good. I also thought that Montgomery was terrible, very confusing to me.

I have gone so far as to wonder if Buges has some kind of dislike for the kid.

Re: Rinehart back in
I like the move, but we need to pick a line up. It takes atleast 3 to 4 weeks before an o-line can get used to working together. You keep changing they keep looking like they are not talented. Keep one lineup together a few weeks, atleast, before saying someone can't play. Mistakes will be made until they get used to communicating with each other. (non verbal communication aka chemistry)

Re: Rinehart back in
What exactly has ailed Rinehart? He's out, he's in. We hear it's because of injury. What's the deal?

Re: Rinehart back in
It looks like it is confirmed. Good for Rhinehart.Rinehart back at RG for Redskins - Redskins 360 - Washington Times

Completely agree. Leave him in the entire season and see what he has. Nothing more to lose at this point, other than jobs! |
Re: Rinehart back in
Rinehart or Montgomery, didn't seem to be any difference to me. I really want to see if Levi Jones has anything left. It would be nice if he came in and held his own. This offensive line combination might be the best the Skins have right now. I'm still concerned Campbell and Collins will be knocked out of a game at the same time. Having no third string quarterback with this offensive line is a big gamble.

The Skins have the worse offense in the league. There is a lot of competition for the worse team. Here are competitors. Cleveland Browns 1-7 Tennessee Titians 2-6 Oakland Raiders 2-6 Kansas City Chiefs 1-7 Washington Redskins 2-6 Detroit Lions 1-7 Tampa Bay Bucs 1-7 St. Louis Rams 1-7 |

Redskins Insider - Rinehart may get another start at guard
What? This staff puts out so much BS. I thought Rhinehart was hurt? Now it seems the reason he wasn't playing was because of performance? But, from what i saw i thought that Rhinehart did a good job. And it seemed to me that Monty couldn't anchor or hold his ground. Why did it take this long to make the change? Why was the change made to go with Monty in the 1st place? |
Re: Rinehart back in
Like I mentioned before, I think you can get something out of this starting five. None of the backups are capable players though.
Levi Jones will most likely be a sieve at LT, but at least he's got a chance to be competent. That's the best we've had since Samuels went down. |

He doesn't or else he would've been in someones camp. JC will still be running for his life Sun. But maybe he can help stop the bleeding. |
Re: Rinehart back in
The one positive for Jones at LT... at least he's not Heyer.

Best that we could tell he chose to not be in camp, because he felt he should be a starting left tackle in this league. Maybe he can live up to his expectations. He is the replacement many were calling for, me included, during the offseason, but I think he purposely waited to see what starting jobs came available. He can't be worse then Heyer or Batiste in the LT position. |
Re: Rinehart back in
Now just get Williams in for Rabach and Levi in for Heyer and we're as good as we can be for the rest of the year.
|
Re: Rinehart back in
I have good feelings about Jones & this line, I think it could boost the team to as much as a 5 win season!

I'd hate to say it but, has Buges lost it? A big mistake Cerrato made was banking on Mike Williams being able to contribute at a high level. He's not even good inside. Rinehart hasn't been giving a fair shot. Heyer is solid although he could be upgraded but, not as a priority. |
