Helmit looked like the Eagles almost. I know feathers are different from wings but change the colors to green and white and it's really close. I liked the spear better with the all Burgandy uni's.

The old style with the feather coming up the back blows this one away. I think our current helmet is one of the best in the NFL. Why do uniforms have to change? The Yankees don't seem to think they do and they do alright.

I had been under the impression that the name "Redskin" was a racist term, meaning the scalp of a dead Native American or something like that...

Now what about the logo itself is racist? Its just a face with feathers. What's racist about that? The fact that the face isn't white? hmm...

And yeah that "fashionable" helmet just looks stupid. Something like the spear from the 60's or maybe a new spin on that would be something I might be in favor of.

The current helmet logo I think is one of the best in the league. The logo it self is that of an indian war drum with the likeness of an indian on the side. It is one of those traditional logos that shouldn't be changed along with the Bears and Packers, IMO.

I like where they are going with this but in order to do it you need to remove the wide stripes of the helment.

The way it looks in the picture is pretty poor but I can at least see what they are trying to do here. The feathers in the picture are pretty weak too.

That is awful. If we have to change then I would change it to the spear helmet. The current helmet is one of the best, if not the best, in the whole league.

This is out of control. If we're going to change the redskins and their logo, how about the blackhawks, braves, indians, cheifs etc.? What happens to them? This whole thing over racism is code for "give me the money"

In the article it says, some artist thought the logos are to bland and that he cant figure out who is who. Well if you cant figure out the difference between the off. and d-fence. Then you shouldn't be wasting time drawing up new logos to tell which team is which. He should stick to watching Bravo.

me too thats why i have that spear but with the current feathers as a tattoo, as a personal touch i have burgundy and gold drops of "blood" dripping off the tip of the spear

This and the one before that one with the feather down the middle are nice. Why try to fix something if it aint broke. Just look back to 1982.

That looks so dumb. The 70th anniversary spear helmets aren't racist and they are a lot closer to an Indian motif than that stupid bird-head helmet. However there are two problems I have with the 70th anniversary uniforms- they remind me of the Spurrier era, and they look like Florida State.
