Re: Chase Daniel is free
So? Dont get excited about a player, who played well against 3rd string players..... move on
|
Re: Chase Daniel is free
Why didn't we pick up McAlister? Daaaaamn.
|
Re: Chase Daniel is free
why? No one wants him.
|
Re: Chase Daniel is free
Chase will be available next summer, no need to rush.
|
Re: Chase Daniel is free
We need to sign Chase NOW. I have never seen him return punts, but he would be an immediate upgrade over ARE in the return game and would probably be a better emergency quarterback. And no, i'm not kidding. I firmly beleive he would be better at both positions.
|
Re: Chase Daniel is free
They'll probably resign (NO) him again, kind of like we do with Wynn.
|
Re: Chase Daniel is free
yeah I imagine he'll be back on their practice squad soon enough

I remember when Thiesmann returned punts for us. It was very entertaining. |

He had the balls to do it and was pretty good at it, that's one of the reasons I really like him. |
Re: Chase Daniel is free
once tracy porter is back, chris mcallister will get cut again and chase daniel will be re-signed
at least thats what most people there are thinking chase daniel is a fixture in practice and in the offense......hes just playing merry-go-round with the team right now because injuries are quickly mounting and the least of our needs is a 3rd string QB btw....we have 2 former redskins at QB.....brunell, daniel.......thats some pretty good depth |

Exactly. Carlos needs a rest. |
Re: Chase Daniel is free
Well I say we get him and release mike williams or d'anthony batiste. I would have said Quinton Ganther but he looked good against denver, maybe we could put portis on IR

Do you realize that you are suggesting that Ganther, who did NOT look all that good against Denver, is more worthy of a roster spot than Portis right now? Granted, i'm fairly fed up with Portis, but Ganther is easily the 53rd man on our roster right now. If anyone gets cut to make room for any player at any position, its Ganther. |
Re: Chase Daniel is free
You don't sign Chase to play.. you sign em to get the book on our upcoming game with New Orleans.

Re: Chase Daniel is free
^^^ that worked so well with the Giants backup QB
No worries guys,be back in a day or so, had to make room for our newest Saint! Spent the day in the playbook, not even like I missed a day!
I don't think he's looking elsewhere. |
So? Dont get excited about a player, who played well against 3rd string players..... move on
This comment is soo over rated. It's like when you don't like a player it's so easy to just say ...."Why get excited over someone who played well against 2nd and 3rd stringers." #1-Cause he's younger then Collins. #2-He doesn't look totally uncomfortable behind Rabach. #3-He actually looks calm and collected as a QB as oppossed to some on this team.
why? No one wants him.
Not true. Some of us fans want him....isn't that all that matters? Just kidding, but I could see having 3 young QB's next year. He's actually not that bad...even against 3rd stringers. Not sure why all the haters don't like him. He atleast could scramble better then Collins. You all act like he should come into camp being as a late round draftee or non draftee and light it up. Sorry that rarely happens with late round picks. Usually they have to develope better skills for a few yrs. Which is why Betts and Rock have never been the top RB year after year. You want someone to come in here and light it up then we better pick in the first round or find a bona fide QB to replace JC. |
