Skins v. Dallas Predictions
Man. I haven't predicted us to win in a long time. I want to. I really do. Because it's Dallas and I don't wanna hear Boys fans. But I dunno man. Dallas is bad, but so are we. But I don't think I have it in me to say Dallas will beat us. Even if I think we'll lose, I just can't do it. If it was a home game, I think we'd have it though.
Skins - 24 Dallas - 17 |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
I have to go for it:
31 14 SKINS WIN (I am counting on AH, BO, and AC making life miserable for Romo all day long, even after the end of the game when he is answering questions about why he threw 5 INTs in one game!) |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
Skins 21
Dallas 17 defense scores |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
Dream on.
Skins 13-34 Dallas |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
I'm not completely drunk with win frenzy from our last game so I'll be the first to say Skins lose:
27 to 13 |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
Skins win on a 70 yard bomb to Santana Moss.
Skins - 14 Cowboys - 13 |

Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
If the Skins lose it's not because the Cowboys owned them on offense. When people predict a loss, it's always 25+ in the other team's direction. I can ONLY see that if the offense throws a pick six or a fumble in their own red zone.
Teams have not put up 20+ points on the Skins without a turnover all year. I just don't think people take that into account before they put their 25+ point beat downs. All that being said.. I have one prediction and I hadn't said it in a while... PAIN |

I can't even describe how much I miss Sean after watching that. His death was the tragedy first and foremost, but what he did on the field in B & G...just mesmerizing and something I miss as well. ...is it corny to hope Sean plays football in heaven? :) |

Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
24 to 14, Skins win. Romo gets sacked 6 times.
|
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
It will be close... I'm simply going with the home team here. Dallas 17 Skins 14
|
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
This is going to be a toss up. I think we're going to need a turnover or two to get this one. And Betts will need to get another 100 yard game.
I'm going on a limb guys. Skins: 27 Dallas: 10 |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
If we come out slow and Dallas builds a 2 touchdown lead most likely Dallas will end up blowing us out. If we can keep it under 7 til halftime I will be feeling pretty good because of the way we have played the last couple games in the second half. Dallas was criticized heavily this past week for coming out sluggish against Green Bay and not taking advantage of opportunities. They will be looking to rebound. I think it will be more like the former than the latter. Dallas 34 Washington 17.

We score 40. Washington 40 Dallas 17. |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
Romo makes a bone head play , R Williams fumbles and the cowgirls crumble to Orakpo/Carter/Jarmon and we win a dogfight .... 19-13 .

Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
One thing I definitely think, is that this will be an emotional game all the way around. I don't think it's the rivalry per se, but something tells me that both teams are going to be high energy- of course we will spot them the usual 7 points on the first drive -but after that this is going to be the hardest bruiser we have seen in a long time. I think our team has the explosion that many of us have been looking for, Dallas fights hard also, but we end up restoring our standing in the league with an undeniable beatdown of Dallas.

Okay are these legitimate PREDICTIONS? Or just wishes?
My point being is that the Redskins offense has only scored more that 17 points this season only ONCE. But I see a bunch pf predictions that have the Skins offense suddenly being reborn and scoring 30 plus points. Does anyone honestly think that is going to happen? Dallas - 27 Skins - 17 |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
Can someon get a Sean Taylor's greatest hits video. The one where he knocked out Witten on the sideline.

Dallas - 27 Skins - 17
Mine (31-14) was, I think the offense is getting comfortable with Lewis calling plays. Remember, in 3 games our team has scored 17, 17, 27. and those were against good D's. 2nd, I believe as our D gains confidence in the O's productivity, we will see fewer plays taken off and more spark from them. Finally, I expect Romo to make several of what you call "silly" mistakes, and us to be able to capitalize off of them. Granted, I also have some wishing in there, that JC doesn't throw a "silly" pick or fumble of his own, and that the D gets into a groove earlier rather than later, and that your OC, Mr Garrett, continues his love of the pass to the neglect of your run game. |

Dallas - 27 Skins - 17
I also don't see how 2 predictions of greater than 30 for the Skins counts as "a bunch". I think most here see a typical close game, a few on both sides see extreme wins. It's also interesting that you say Dallas will get 27, neglecting the fact that we have given up 27+ points in only 2 of our games, and in both cases the O gave up "silly" turnovers that resulted in immediate points, and both were the first games with SLewis calling plays, so there was - possibly- some uncertainty that may have sorted itself out. |

Plus Dalls can't stop teh run. We bully them as always. |

Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
The lucky stars lined up for the Skins last week. Denver came east for a 1pm game on a short week. Denver's starting QB goes down and the back-up stinks. The Skins have their home fans cheering them on. I dont see this conjunction of lucky stars happening again this week.

Dallas - 27 Skins - 17
Are you someone who is also predicting over twenty-five points? Just curious, are you counting on a defensive score or a fumble deep in the Redskins end? NOBODY has scored over twenty on them and truly dominated them offensively. The defense is still a great unit and I just don't see them going nuts on the Redskins point-wise unless they get a defensive score. |

I think Dallas sleeps on the skins and we somehow someway get our first road win of the season!! Guarantee is such a big word. Im not a betting man, but if I were I would put my money on the 'Skins. The line as I read it today is Dallas by 11. That is a big number to me and I think Washington covers. They still lose, but they cover. But the same can be said about the Dallas defense, they have only given up more that 21 points once the whole season. And that was the Giants game where the Giants got 21 points off turnovers. The offense has scored greater than 27 points in 5 of 8 games this season. So I think the chances are pretty good. But CERTAINLY not gauranteed. |

The Cowboys are so overhyped. Our D will not allow a margin that large. |

Dallas fans don't put their money where there mouth is. We had one Dallas fan this week (will not mention names) who said he donated money to the sight because we make him laugh but the donation section still shows a big fat ZERO. |
Re: Skins v. Dallas Predictions
You know watching some of the videos from Buster's post, well I had to wipe a tear. There was such a different feel to this team as a whole when Gibbs came back and when Sean was here. There was always hope and always a flare for the unexpected with Sean on the field. wow... still miss him.. It's hard to imagine that after 2 years the pain is still there.
On that note. I think we can beat Dallas. We can always beat Dallas no matter how bad we are. someone was talking about the rivarly being dead in another thread and maybe it did lose some of its bite when they were beating us every year before the return of Gibbs. But since then we have had a winning record against them. I belive in the last 8 games we are 5-3 against them. So HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! |
