i can't beleive there isn't a college football thread on here yet. this has to be one of the best years in college football in a while, the past five years or so have been great seasons. this one is coming to ean end now, but there will be some great games this weekend.

fla v bama, i hope fla beats the crap out of bama, i think hands down tebow could be the best college football player ever

texas v nebraska, i think the odds hae to be in texas's favor but it should be a great game mccoy never dissapoints

cincy v pitt, should be a great game a lot of great players on both teams, and maybe a potential redskins qb on cincy

wvu v rutgers, i'm a wvu fan and i hope we beat the s out rutgers and finish in the top 15

new mexico v boise state, anyone else beside me hate the f-ing feild?

and btw vt is over rated

I wish all of college athletics would take a page from the SEC and not allow the fans to rush the fields/courts. It's dangerous and stupid. Good for Oregon, but I think it's so stupid to have thousands of drunk fans on the field of play afterwards. I can't stand it really.

i have never understood it either, and would never do it, but i think it does look cool on tv watchin em all cover the field, it's just one of thoose things that lets you know it's college football imo

Yep. They don't allow it at all. And on the rare occasion that it has happened, the conference doles out a huge fine to the school. It just doesn't happen in the SEC. It shouldn't happen anywhere.

hopefully the rest of the games today are as good as the first three, ecu upset huston, but that looked like an upset from the get go espcially since it was in greenville, wvu almost shit the bed today against rutgers but they pulled it out in the end, and the cincy pitt game was one of the best games i've seen all year, i still think pike is one of the best qb's coming out this year even if he does run a spread offense his vision and arm are sick.

i don't think bama has a chance unless ingram gets started early and often, i think it's gonna be the cooper tebow show today, i heard on gameday this morning that tickets in the lower bowl were $1200, and upper bowl corner were $300, thats nuts

i have never seen so many extra points missed in one day. houston missed 2 vs ecu, pitt missed one which cost them the game, cincinnati missed one, now alabama missed one. this is insane.

it's not looking so good but i think they have a chance to turn it around after half time they are only down 9 right now, cincy was down 14 at half time and down by 21 at one point and came back to win

i think your right there, depends what mccoy does tonight, can't beleive fla was so flat on d. my step dad loves bama and i hate him, and i'm not a fan of saban, but ingram has almost 100 yards after contact today.

i dont know the last time i saw tebow play this poorly. props to alabama, they were agressive on offense, stout on defense, mcelroy has played fantastically, and ingram, nuff said. hes the heisman for me.

Tebow didn't have a great game for sure, but I don't think it's on him at all. Our defense shit the bed big time. We knew they were gonna run Ingram, they did it anyway, and pounded it right at us. And through us. They were the more physical team today.

definitely not all his fault. defense is definitely the most culpable for the loss, put too much pressure on the offense to perform.

im sorry but texas has been overrated all year. i havent been impressed with them at all this year, they have snuck by many times. colt is worse this year than last for sure. that being said texas will win this game. sucks, because tcu would be the best matchup for alabama in the national championship imo.

alabama are definitely beatable, if it werent for cody blocking 2 fgs they would have lost to tennessee, auburn almost had them, etc. but this victory over florida is a huge statement. they are undoubtedly the best team right now. i just feel that tcu would give them the toughest game based on how strong of a defense tcu has.

what an end to that texas game. real shame that they will most likely be in the natty championship game. really pathetic game from them today. today rules tebow and mccoy out of the heisman race imo, both were poor today, especially mccoy. gotta say texas doesnt deserve to be in the national title game with these last 2 showings when you have several other undefeated teams out there.
