Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Giants already down 24-0 and the half isn't even over.
|
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
And Houston is keeping it close w/ the Patriots..
|
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
31:0 Vikings.
And if Manning will really get hurt in the Playoffs, the Colts are doomed. This backup stinks. |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
What needs to happen today for us to get the #3 pick in the draft? Or is that not even possible?
|
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Well for starters we need to lose to the Chargers. lol

We loose, Bucs and Chiefs win? Cleveland Browns 4-11 Washington Redskins 4-11 Kansas City Chiefs 3-12 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-12 Detroit Lions 2-13 St. Louis Rams 1-14 And even then I´m not sure. |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Please do not let the Steelers get in the playoffs, I can not stand them.

(obviously, it would change based on games today) |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Sorry to dominate the thread, our SOS is much worse than KC and Tampa Bay through week 16.... so does that mean were the "worst" team and get the higher pick?
I absoultley hate that this is what I've come to, thinking about the draft on week 17 EDIT: I looked it up (on a whatever site so it could be wrong), but it looks like if us, KC and Tampa all finish 4-12, then we pick first.... (Tampa is currently down 10-3) |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
to get a better pick we need tamp, kc, and clevland to win
god the giants suck soo bad it's been nice to rip on all my buddies who are giants fans since they have been giving mecrap all year and now they gianhts have been outscored 72-9 in the past 6 quarters i love it still torn on who i want to root for between dallas and philly, i'm leaningtowards rooting for philly since it's in dallas, but i hate hem both so much, i just wann see romo and mcnabb get sacked all day long |

The Steelers would have to win and then get some help. The would need the Jets or Baltimore to lose. I hope their fans will stay home after today. :) |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
jared allen is a effing beast of a man 14.5 sacks thats three season with over 14 sacks in a row only reggie white is the only other player to do it, dude is a beast!!!

Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
The Giants have been mailing it in ever since they beat us.
|
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Pat White of the Dolphins just got slammed! Let's hope it's not serious, they're bringing the cart out.

Yeah, that guy just got an official welcome to the NFL. Very nasty hit, probably the worst I've seen on a QB since the Trent Green sliding tackle. I hope he's alright... |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Now everyone understands the potential dangers of leaving in your starters in meaningless games. I remember back in the 80's, the starters were almost pulled immediately if a team already secured a first round bye. Wes Welker is a tough dude. Most receivers wouldn't dare expose themselves in order to make plays for their team. Wes does it day in day out.

That was as brutal of a hit as I've seen in a while. The entire Steelers sideline reacted immediately to get help. |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
I love watching the Giants look so hapless. The way they have mailed it in is really an indictment on their leadership and coaching staff. Just terrible. Makes me smile.
ESPN reporting Zorn will be fired tomorrow. Shocker. |

This came up the other day. We have the weakest strength of schedule and thus win any tiebreaker. If we tie Tampa and KC, we draft third. - NFL Teams - |

Not sure if he is a F/A , Miami traded for him before the year ? |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Sheez Matt Leinert is terrible. His throws are so predictable.

Yeah, I was about to say that I definitely don't want to trade for him. |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
KC suddenly is up 37-24 over denver. Boy will J McDaniels be next years JZ?
|

Boys win :) SHUTOUT :spank: nice revenge after last season spanking.

Congrats on the nice shutout. However, it doesn't mean a thing if you don't do it again next week. |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
I will say this about the J-E-T-S. If it wasn't for their offensive line there is no chance they are competing for a playoff spot in week 17. Thomas Jones has 1,300 yards with a 4.4 average and 12 TD's through 15 games. And Shonae Green has 478 yards with a 5.0 average. Sanchez could easily develop in the next two years but if they have any hope of getting to the Super Bowl they better hope he does.

Spanking and cowgirls = always a good thing :) |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Carson Palmer with a historically abysmal first half
|
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Crazy that today's GB-AZ, Dal-Philly, and NYJ-Cincy matchups will all be replayed next week in the 1st round of the playoffs. I mean has that ever happened before?? I doubt it.

I feel like a couple years ago there were at least a couple re-matches...but 3 out of the 4 games...seems like this might be a first. |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but how about Wes Welker? Torn ACL and MCL. Tough, tough blow to the Pats

That's a big blow, especially this late in the year. He probably won't be the same until 2011. |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Although that Edelman kid looks like a Welker clone, and he has played really well in the games he stepped in for Welker. I know early in the season when Welker was hurt he stepped in for a game or two and was very good. Today he had 10 catches for 103 yards.
And eff the Cowboys. The playoffs are all about who's hot at the right time, and right now they're smokin. Gross. |

Although it makes me sick to say this, they'll probably win again. Blah. :tongue |
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
WTF is with that hat Tony effing Romo wears during every press conference? I really dislike him.
|
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Still can't believe how the Eagles layed down like dogs against the Cowboys.
|
Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)
Great, now we can listen to the media slurp on Dallas all week long. Thanks a lot Philly.
