Brunell is the Worst Starting QB in the League
 

I am sorry, but anyone who thought Brunell is a "savy," "smart," and "efficient" quarterback is out of their mind. He's the worst starting QB I've seen in Washington in my life. Get Ramsey in NOW!

I couldn't agree with you more. I think only Craig Krenzel might be worse.

You guys gotta have faith in Mark. He is an solid starting QB in this league.

This move by Gibbs is comparable to his f-ck up with Desmond Howard.

Anyone who said I was an impatient fan for calling for Brunell's benching has to fess up and eat a lot of crow. I'd admit it if Brunell was a good QB.

Hey, I was one of the first ones on the "bench Brunell" bandwagon and I almost got crucified after that Dallas game. Which, btw, according to everyone on this site "proved he could play."

It's funny that everyone who attacked us has either been silent or calling for Ramsey.

Brunell has 10 net passing yards with 3:00 left in the half.

Thank God we had the bye week, I don't know if Brunell would look this good if he had played last week. :rofl:

I'll comment after the game is over rather than calling for his head after every incompletion.

he cant throw a pass of over 15 yards!!! all any team has to is load the box cuz hes not gonna go past them with a pass! so easy to play d on us!!

I definitely think it's time to make a switch, but we have many problems that go beyond the QB position. Just a warning, Ramsey won't be a quick fix.

Ramsey will not be a quick fix, but he'll lead us down the right road. We need a guy who's going to progress, not regress.

This is simply Unfing believable....... Brunell couldn't hit the broadside of a horses ass.....

i usually don't get into these posts, but I'm thinking if we are going to struggle the rest of the season with our passing game, why don't we put our future QB in to learn on the field. He can't be learning anything watching Brunnel play now. He'd be better off learning by playing Madden 2005 or NFL 2k5

If Brunell is clearly and obviously "the worst starting QB in the league" then you'd be happy to trade him even up for:


Craig Krenzel/Jonathon Quinn (whichever one happens to start any given week in Chicago)


Tim Rattay/Ken Dorsey (rotating starters in SF)


Jay Fielder/AJ Feeley/SageRosenfels (whoever gets the call in Miami)

Brian Griese


Vinny Testaverde


Kyle Boller

id take tim rattay, testeverde, or kyle boller for him, even griese.

Boller is bad, but he is still young, so you cant totaly write him off yet.

At this point, the only QB's starting in the NFL I'd take Brunell over are the Quinn/Krenzal connection, the Rattay/Dorsey connection, or the Miami Disaster. I think Boller is better than Brunell is, personally. All these guys are still young so I dont know. Whatever, its game week, Brunell is starting, I'll be rooting for him to do well. If he sh*ts the bed again and I have to hear about how heroic he is....

they made a good point on the radio the other daying asking that if portis' td stands and you win, do you still bench brunell? i guess i can see how gibbs' is in a fix there. that being said... i'll still look for brunell next game (with a loss)... or the 2nd half (with horrible play)
