Matty consider orginal roster's, just viewing the updated ones to orginal, there are a lot teams closer to each other, in orginal than updated, plus their would be more teams to chose from and available, Saints, Vikes, ect. Packers,where in update none of these are available, and in update, there is a big difference, between team rated 80 or 79 to a team rated in its 60's, since you go have more guys or players in the second season...... just view it yourself.

I think we're going to follow the keep it simple stupid philosophy. Everyone played straight up last season so I don't see the need to put in any rules. We'll have a team draft based on reverse order of finish, but no restrictions on the teams you can take. Newbies we'll toss in the middle of the draft.

The season is pretty long so if you get one in the next couple weeks I'm sure you'll be able to join mid-season. I know I won't mind.

Ok...so we're not doing a franchise...is that right?

So technically it is still the 2009 season that we are playing over again and not a progression to Madden year 2010? Just wondering because I thought we were drafting players and all that.

Ok so this means we are using the same rosters as last franchise right? The same opening rosters that came with the game?

For instance the Skins will still have Portis with a good rating, Cooley as TE, etc? (as opposed to current skins roster with Ganther etc.)

Good deal matty, yeah lets keep it simple, everyone here played fair and i never got any complaints, the guys monk and don canab was great opponents in my division, i was happy playing with those guys..... so we starting now

Check that we're just going to use the season ending rosters, I was looking at the original and Favre isn't even in there.

VY, with the Vick like qualities. If you saw me run with the Titans this past year you would have seen CJ run for 2900 yards and Lendale White run for 800. I'm all ground game, without using the QB and that broke-ass strategy.

VY's biggest contributions were through the air and the major reason I lost in the AFC Championship was because he threw 5 INT's and not because he fumbled after his 23rd rushing attempt.


Ruhskins demolished me, I'll gladly admit that, but as for me beating you by 10 points and what it says about my game is that I don't fall for weak-ass chicanery like QB scrambles.

Simply putting in Vick for McNabb says all that needs to be said. If you don't use the Eagles then I guess you'll be subbing Pat White for Pennington and running with the Dolphins this season.

If memory serves me right, you beat me doing the whole scrambling around with Vick. Not that I could've beaten you without you running around with Vick (but who knows), I just find that stuff annoying.

You seem to be really good at Madden, but no matter how good you are in other areas, if you are scrambling with your QB all the time it seems like you are winning because of a gimmick. I'm sure you are the type of Madden player that could take the Lions to the SB (with Stafford, not the running Culpepper), but I would ask that out of good sportsmanship to not pull that scrambling QB stuff in this league.

I might stick with the Ravens if they are available. Otherwise, I don't know which team I'll pick. I'll try to be a trooper and go to a conference to even things out.
