Bald Eagle Cam

This is a rare look into a bald Eagles nest that has three babies. Most of the time its pretty dull but if you keep up with the site you can watch them grow over the next month and see as they bring in fish to feed.

Re: Bald Eagle Cam

You know I was actually just looking for some cams that I remembered having seen before to make a thread about it.

This isn't the one that I remember, but I've always liked the African Watering Hole and Animal Reserves cams

Africam | Always Live & Wild from African waterholes & bush, 24x7

Update: I think that one of the feeds on there is one of the main one that I used to watch.

I'll have to check out the Eagles

Re: Bald Eagle Cam

Right now the Eagle cam is pretty slow as the new borns are only a few days old. When I was starting this thread the mother was up tearing up a fish and feeding them which only lasted about 5 min. They have someone watching the cam and anserwing questions which is pretty cool.

There's an Eagle who has set up shop in my neighborhood. If there's a dead deer around you'll know it. He sits on them until there's nothing left. We've a million of them at Turkey Island.

Very cool, I just missed out on the feeding.

We've got some bald eagles around in my area along the Hudson. Seems like every year you seem them more and more.

Re: Bald Eagle Cam

I think they had fish for lunch. She was saying for dinner probably mice. It is quick and easy. =)

When I worked in Hilton Head the bar I worked at was o na dock and some manatees should up one day, kind of rare for that area. They were really cool and I went swimming with them once after my shift. Folks use to come and ask where they were (sometimes they took off for no reason than came back) I always said they went out to see a movie.

They are eating again. The question I ask was. Does the camera guy get tired from holding the camera all day? They actually answered back and informed me it was fix mounted.

He's gotta be joking.

I hope.

Side story here, I remember being in 4th or 5th grade and a buddy of mine who wasn't too bright was over after school and we were watching cartoons. He-Man I believe, so when Prince whatever his name was turned into He-Man my friend said "How do they do that?". I said you do know this is a cartoon right, it's not real? He was dumbfounded, LOL

LOL! I was born in DC but grew up in Newport RI (it is on an island). Folks decide to go to the Cape for the day I invited my friend we are like 12 or 13. We start going over the Newport Bridge the kid starts screaming bloody murder, my dad pulls over and ask what is going on. Come to find out he had never been off the island his whole life until that point. We just looked at him like are you serious.

Not sure if anyone cares but tomorrow at 9:00am they are banding the three baby Eagles. That requires two guys to climb up in the tree and bring them down to be band. They then take them back up to the nest.

They are all back and happy. Basically it just looked like a guy working on a power line. Really nothing to see. I hope the eagle family is not to upset.
