What's the story on the server being too busy all day? I just finally got in after about 1000 refreshes.

Isn't this what the 'Make a Donation' button is for?

If everybody would just chip in a little bit-- a couple bucks even-- every month, we could do some great stuff with this site.

I'll gladly pony up for the first month, if others follow suit.

I don't think any one person has to be responsible for a whole month. Like Crisp says, if everyone just chips in a couple of bucks every now and then we should be ok

I just think that we need to start moving towards a dedicated server. I'm not so sure that the donate know button will get us there. We need a fundraiser. Maybe daseal could have a bakesale :D

Don't worry about contributing $$ just yet, I'm still researching other hosting plans. I'm looking in to virtual dedicated servers, which give you the benefits of a dedicated server but at a much more affordable price.

When the time comes I'll let the entire forum know. It probably won't be until the offseason.

um, how much traffic does this site get? do you really need 1200gb a month? figured this is a 5gb max site since there's not much in the way of pictures or files... so i'm just kind of curious what the actual average/peak monthly bandwidth requirements are...

anyways, let me know when you figure out the master plan to take over the world.
