Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
No way. Wow, I guess that he really has changed, though I was never really against him not granting interviews. Last thing we need is for him to be more like Jerry.

How'd they pull this?

Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
Pretty awesome. I've never hated or disliked Snyder as most fans have. I mean sure he's made mistakes, but honestly I felt it was because he trusted people (Cerrato) was to much. I mean when you hire someone you feel you are hiring the best and I believe that's how he felt, unfortunately he didn't.
Glad he always says it was his mistake though and he owns up to it. Really don't see how people can dislike him for owning up to it. Anyways so far so good he's definitely shown he wants to win and thankfully by getting rid of Cerrato I think this team finally can or at least can get back to being respectable. Definitely can feel the change through the people in D.C, the front office as well as the players. Good times are coming for the Redskins, I honestly believe it 100%. |

HH is part of SB Nation, which has a strong team behind it. Snyder's never been against interviews, he just prefers not to conduct them in season |
Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
Better interview than most of the ones done by 'journalists' because they aren't asking questions with an agenda or boring softball questions.
I love how candid he was about his desire for Shanny and how he didn't consider a personal relationship with Vinny when making the realization the train was way off the tracks. |
Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
"I wasn't the one who called two fake FG's in a row."
Priceless! |

Priceless![/quote]Twice. Though the one at Denver somehow worked. I always appreciated Zorn's aggression in trying to make something out of nothing, but his reckless approach towards his reputation did come back to bite him in the end. Hard. |
Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
Part 2 was pretty good as far as candidness and honesty.. tweeted about some of it the past couple of days. enjoyed part 1 in relation to gameday experience.. the official site did an interview too

Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
Great in-depth interview.....One that was more revealing coming from Mr. Snyder than what you would normally hear. Good to know his intentions are to make the fan experience the best it can be......good stuff

Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
i hate to be that guy, but after being butt f-ed by realtors and banks the past few months, this just sounds way to good to be true. i think he hired a brilliant pr guy and is doing all the right things and saying all the right things. we will see once there are actual results and a consistant front office. maybe things have changed, but i'm just gonna wait and see. i really, really, really hope it works this time i'm so tired of bitching about my team i just wanna be relivent in the nfc again

Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
That was extremely refreshing to read. Like they said, the best way for fan approval for Snyder will be winning, and luckily for us, he's no Mike Brown in the way he runs ship. I for one am confident that the train has been put on the right tracks, so to speak.

If you re-watch the Denver one, you'll see Sellers basically pull across the entire line and go out the other side...that's easily my favorite play of last year. |

I'm not saying you're wrong, but damn, this is what we've been reduced to... :) Hopefully we have a whole slew of amazing plays we can point to this time next year as we fondly reminisce during camp.... |
Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
I'm surprised at Dan's level of honesty and the fact that during that interview, he just seemed like a regular guy.
Could Snyder of just been misunderstood, and unfairly stereotyped by the media? I'm not gonna be Dan's biggest fan all of a sudden, but he was telling the truth when he said that for the 4 years Gibbs were here, there were almost no allegations of him "meddling" with the team. He came across as a genuine and honest man, and actually validates other posters' descriptions of Dan as a nice and friendly man.... |
Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
Snyder is way different from what he was in 2000, largely because very influential people in his life back then are no longer here. Whether by act of man or act of God. Still, for most people they still see the "2000 spend truckloads for past their prime stars" Snyder.
I've always said Snyder's biggest flaw is that he thinks too much like the fan he once was. I think he gets now that he just can't do that anymore. He can't be ignorant and impulsive like all of us who have no true responsibility to the team. He's not just a fan anymore. There are many owners around pro sports just like Snyder, but we don't care about them because we're on a Redskins board. |

It's my belief he's also gotten over that fear of failure and what people were going to think of him if he did. That being the sensitive side of him I think he's learned that to fail initially at something is not always a bad thing, sometimes failure will ultimately serve as the bridge to success. |
Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
Sounds like Danny is loosening up. Good to see him signing autographs and mingling with the fans at camp too. About time.

Re: HogsHaven.com Interviews Dan Snyder
Cool, maybe I'll try to get him to sign a $10 bill for me. :D
