Cowboys getting spanked

Henson is now in at QB and just fumbled it at their own 1 yard line. First and Goal for Baltimore

Ravens now up 30 - 3

Bozzy 11-21-2004 03:40 PM

wow i just had the game on and it was cowboys 3-0 in the third quarter. what happened?

monk81 11-21-2004 03:40 PM

How Bout Them Cowboys ;)

SmootSmack 11-21-2004 03:40 PM

Wow that was fast, seems like just a minute ago it was just 3-0

SKINSnCANES 11-21-2004 03:57 PM

hensen seems to have come in and picked things up for them

skinsguy 11-21-2004 04:07 PM

Henson seemed to play alot better on his second try than the first, huh? ;-)

I think the Cowboys are in trouble! I wonder if Tuna will be back next year?

la73hof 11-21-2004 05:31 PM

Henson 6-6 for 48 yards and a TD...

And with Vinny's shoulder injury, it looks very much like Henson's 1st start comes Thursday

The Henson era has begun--happiness for Cowboys nation and Jerry Jones..much to the chagrin of Parcells

Parcells should take the We're too stupid and change it to Mike Zimmer and myself are too stupid

monk81 11-21-2004 05:44 PM

Cowboys look clueless.....at least the Redskin can say the defense is playing well, while the Cowboys have problems on BOTH sides of the line............

True, but there is hope for optimism...our 2 heralded rookies Henson and Jones played well

Jones carried the ball 30 times against the Ravens D in his first game back since breaking his shoulder blade

Not bad

Injuries have played a part in the Cowboys record as it has the Redskins, (Arrington, Griffin, Barrows) Jones may have carried 30 times, but perhaps your offense could've been more productive if the Cowboys hadn't passed on RB Stephen Jackson in the draft? Losing Darren Woodsen for the year really hurt your secondary. I think you need to upgrade your receivers too.......Well, December 26 should be an interesting game...perhaps a low scoring affair......PEACE ]
Take Care.

while I'll give jones credit for his job against the ravens after his recent injury, when did I miss Jones and Henson being deemed "heralded" rookies?

LOL, you may recognize those two under their other name, The Dream Team

:)

Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-21-2004 10:28 PM

I'm so happy the Cowturds didn't pick RB Jackson.

That Guy 11-22-2004 12:18 AM

no doubt jackson is the better back...

la73hof 11-22-2004 12:46 AM
I'm so happy the Cowturds didn't pick RB Jackson.
It'll be interesting to compare 2 things...Jackson vs Jones, AND Jackson vs who we pick with Buffalos 1st round pick

I think Jones will do just fine

You guys are probably more down on Taylor than we are Jones

Add Mike Williams to the mix..Henson..Jones..Williams..Witten

If Williams makes it past Miami and SF, despite our crying needs on defense, we ought to take him...he's a little less explosive Owens with better, more consistant hands

Getting our offense set and then fixing the D is the same formula we used our last SB run

la73hof 11-22-2004 12:52 AM
I'm so happy the Cowturds didn't pick RB Jackson.
Jackson, like any RB, is one Musa Smith type injury away from selling insurance

Lets compare the 2 the rest of the season now that JJ is finally healthy...and then next year when Jones is featured and SJ is still subbibg behind Faulk

And, if Martz and his ego is still coaching the Rams, Jackson will be underutilized just like Faulk is now under pass happy Martz

That Guy 11-22-2004 02:40 AM

yeah, martz won't use him as much, and his need for a young RB isn't as dire, but neither of those things makes jones a better back than jackson. Maybe more productive, but not more talented.
Maybe more productive, but not more talented.
I'll take production over talent or potential anyday

Cowboy nation is very excited and happy today..Henson gets his 1st start Thursday (albeit 3 weeks too late)..Jones doing fine after his 1st game back after facing Ravens D

Gawd, I cant wait till we get you guys at home next month

Round 1 of many Ramsey/Henson duels..

Seems like Parcells and Gibbs are on about the same page on the "3 weeks too late" thing... :cool-smil

That Guy 11-24-2004 05:39 AM

vinny was actually one of the better parts of the team, believe it or not... and gibbs was about 10 weeks too late ;)

still, vinny isn't blowing people away and he's old, so tis time the roids figure out if henson is their guy...

monk81 11-24-2004 10:45 PM

It is kinda looking in a mirror with our QB situation and overall record......
