Just got a text on it, haven't seen any link for it yet

Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Just saw it on Twitter. So now it's Portis, Torain and Simpsons? I'm not liking this RB carousel.

You know that Shanahan couldn't help himself from channeling a little bit of the Denver Broncos 2008 to this team. |

Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Interesting... says in the article Banks was playing Vick this week.. wonder how the d faired...
Will we finally see some BB returning Punts sunday? Did we ever sign Hunter the Punter? |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Thank GOD!
Banks should have been active since WK-1 Our greatest most dangerous weapon we've seen dawn the Burgundy & Gold in at least 10 yrs,has been carrying Shoulder Pads for the vets for the last 4 weeks and impersonating Michael Vick for "wildcat" practices.... 'bout damn time Shanny!! Get'm in there! |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Please don't put the ball on the ground, Banks...PLEASE!

Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Shoot Banks doesn't weigh the same as me wet, and I am considered a light weight. Killer speed, but if the kid gets nailed FUMBLE!!!!!!

Stop talking about Bruce Bodreau when we mention Brandon Banks. It's a Redskin forum for God's sake. Anyway this is totally the type of move that I could see from a guy like GMGM. |

Could you stop talking about Brandon Banks being "wet" and "nailed" |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
I'm not sold on the BB situation ... if hit's in the pre-season cause fumbles i'm a little gun shy of what the Eagles can do
|
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
I say put him in on KR and PR why not kinda sucks about Keiland though. Thought he could be like a Kevin Faulk for us.
|
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
What a roller coaster depth chart at RB. Good luck Keiland, we hardly knew ye.
|
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Perhaps they intend to bring Keiland back. But he wasn't getting it done as a blocker.

You can't hit what you cannot catch. Speed Kills. Desean Jackson falls in this catergory to. |

I've been saying that to him for a while now. How often do you see DeSean Jackson, Santana Moss, or Steve Smith or Darren Sproles for that matter get rocked??? |

How did he have all those fumbles in the preseason if he's too fast to get rocked? Face it he has ball security issues. I'm not worried about him getting hit after breaking a long one, I'm worried about him catching the ball, misjudging the distance between the guy and him, getting rocked, and fumbling. You can't ignore his fumbles in the preseason. |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Look this move helps out for 2 reasons.
1- If you can't get the big tall WR you want (VJ) to help the team then ya gotta go with picking up a short WR. 2- Due to the fact that McNabb likes to throw dirt balls the team decided to take advantage of this and increase the chances of receptions by picking up/pramoting a WR who is (although normally considered virtically challenged) closer to the dirt. |

1) I'm not ignoring his fumbles. 2) I never said he's too fast to get rocked and a few of his fumbles came on muffing punts. 3) You guys talk as if he fumbles everytime he touches the ball. 4) Ball security can be taught. Ask Tiki Barber. |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
He does fumble everytime. Fast forward to 0:35. Where's the ball? Oh that's right. Banks fumbled it

Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
A few years ago during the Gibbs II area there was another guy who was this same kind of threat with great speed but fumble issues... what was his name? I remember even him doing what we were afraid of; I believe he returned a punt for a TD and then in the next game he fumbled twice.

All those guys are bigger than him. Jaskson is 5'10" and moss is 200lbs, Banks is 5'6" 150 lbs. |

Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Brandon Banks, the Micro Smurf.
|
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
We're obviously looking for a spark, so I say why not give Banks a try on punt returns at the least.

I don't know why I immediately thought of Anthony Alridge? |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
What gives?
You obviously don't use him for return duties right now. He's not quite ready for that. But how many bombs have you seen that have been just off the fingertips in the last few weeks? Would they have been too far for Banks? He stretches the field as a receiver. All he needs to do is get one early and the coverage on Moss loosens up. Let's just see how he's used. |

Darren Sproles is 5'6" 175lbs playing RB |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Banks opens up the screen game. No seriously, he does.
|
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Yeah If he takes a hit hes gonna fumble.....
Ill quote my High school coach for this though "You can't hit what you can't catch" Yeah sure he'll cough up the ball if he gets nailed by someone....good luck catching this guy once he gets his hands on the ball though he's just TOO damn fast! |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Play DT at WR he's a better game guy than a practice guy IMO watch the film.

In a forum full of homers, Ace in the House is how you say? Homerific? King Homer? Larry Michael? I kid I kid, on the last one at least. No one is a bigger homer then Larry Michael. |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
thats why have him!

Thank you Banks! God I hope we keep him active... |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
how do you post a new post on this website? Cant find a button to hit. I want to discuss why Carlos Rogers cant catch an F-ing football if his life depended on it. He has the worst hand in NFL history! The game should have been over instead of having to deal with a Hail Mary which the guy almost caught and as a Skins fan i thought he would.
