Re: Landry's pre-game workouts

Wow, this says it all.. Landry is definitely committed to football, which is good! I never knew that Sean Taylor did same thing, perhaps Landry learned it from him..

I still miss watching Sean on field..

He's playing where he should be playing and I think he's happy to be there. Good job LaRon!

Nothing better than guys enjoying this. It seems in the past few years too many of our guys just couldn't enjoy playing football for whatever reason. Landry sounds like he is really pumped in general now.

Anyone know if he still writes suicide mission on his chest?

Re: Landry's pre-game workouts

Yeah Taylor was known for his late night workouts too or just kinda doing it all by himself or whatever. Seems like Laron has stolen a page from Taylor's book. Good for him.

I think a lot of people were pissed off and turned off at Landry (including myself)for his on field antics like flexing and celebrating while the team was getting blown out. I think with Shanahan not taking shit, his attitude has changed and maybe he has matured a little.

Nice D-Hall avatar you have there.

Landry is a physical beast now...I support his freakish behavior if it gets him amped up to destroy people. It seems to be working.

He's now meeting and maybe even exceeding his potential and expectations.

Perhaps he's inspired by Sean Taylor and is doing his best to fill in for him. Maybe he's just responding to all of YOU who wanted him gone, said he was a bust...blamed him for losses last year. Whatever is driving him, it's a force, like he has become.

Man, with the way Landry is playing now you can't help but wonder how badass of a safety duo we would have right now with him and Taylor.

Guy's a monster, I just wish he would incorporate catching balls into his workout. He should have like 4 INTs by now

Would have been the best safety tandem in history. No question. Who would want to catch passes over the middle with those to roaming around? You'd have to be crazy.

Maybe it was totally unfair to the rest of the NFL and that's why the man upstairs had to do something about it. Maybe the man upstairs had to sit down and say to himself, you know, I've seen enough in 7 games to know just what kind of havoc will be brought on the NFL for years to come. I can't allow this in good conscienceness to happen. Sean, you're gonna have to come with me. ;)

In all seriousness though I'm really glad LL is finally living up to his enormous potential. Hopefully we won't ever have to worry about seeing him play free safety again now that he's ballin like this.

Re: Landry's pre-game workouts

45 sets of every exercise? Seriously? Is that supposed to be reps? My arms would fall off if I did 45 sets of just one exercise.

Couldn't have said it better...

...it's sort of like all the stars aligned for Landry to have a breakout season. Coaching. Scheme. Maturity. Attitude.
