Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
What a big week for REDSKIN nation, as is every week. But if we can get our work done tonight and the teams we have played thus far that would be HUGE to get a BIG W tonight, Bears and Lions coming up and a bye just a few weeks out, this could position us very nicely at the mid point.
Come on SKINS go to work for 60 minutes. Getting ready to head up to FedEx in just a few. Discuss and enjoy! |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
All right ... it's here. In my opinion, one of the most important games this season. I think it is a measuring stick game b/c Peyton is going to throw all over us but if we can find a way to put the Colts down, we are one of the better teams in the league.
Here's to DMac to AA for more 50+ yard completions !! |

You go in take your best shot, and if it doesn't work you just go back and keep going. I had 0 expectation that we would win this game before the season started, and its not a conference game. So if we lose, there is no shame in that. BUT if we were to find a way to win, that would be huge and a major statement about the direction of this team. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
I just wish I didn't have to wake up at 0200 to watch the game...but I will of course...who needs sleep.

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Ive never seen a more beatable looking Colts team. A win tonight would be huge.

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
What a difference a year makes. Last year we wouldn't have been given much of a chance in this game.
Keep the game close and low scoring, the 12th an will make the difference late in the game. I'm preparing to go make some noise. |

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
I had a feeling about last week's win -- I picked the Skins to beat the Pack.
This week, I don't have that feeling. The problem will be offense -- 16 or 17 points just won't be enough. If the offense can finally get on track and start putting up some points, we'll definitely have a chance. But my money is on the Colts tonight. |

We win by a field goal or we get our asses kicked.

They had that against KC Mr. Negative, or we can go 2FGs 1TD and a missed 2pt conversion |

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
I am hoping to see a good o line tonight, we see that and we win. I will be out on the pool deck in West Palm screaming all night. Have fun tonight skins fans, we deserve it.

oooooooooooowned.
Doesn't change the fact that they had to kick 4FGs. PWNED!! Btw I knew they scored a TD against KC. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
The Skins are due for a game where they straight up dominate an opponent, they're at home, playing a solid Colts team that is just depleted enough to have letdown, and are playing decent defense (scoring wise not yards wise).

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
QUESTION FOR MASSES ATTENDING THE COLTS GAME AT FEDEX!!!
Will they be showing the 1pm and 4pm NFL games on a screen that is viewable by a large number of people? If so, how many games are viewable and how is the visibility of the screens compared to the people surrounding them? One more question, will they be showing those games even though our game is an 8:30pm kickoff and perhaps too late to have an audience for said 1 and 4 o' clock games? |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
I'm not sure about this game? I kinda have a feeling of calm & confidence for some reason. I hope the team does too.
Haven't seen the point spread, curious what it is? Obviously we need to score points. But I'll go out on a limb and say we do! Skins- 30 Colts- 28 |

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Most likely no Albert tonight. WTF. I'm getting sick of this shit.
I'll of course give him a pass for last week. |

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
27-24 Us in another nail bitter, last play-like finish.
Peyton gets sacked 2 times, and picked once. Torain has a big game. |
Most likely no Albert tonight. WTF. I'm getting sick of this shit.
I'll of course give him a pass for last week.
Haynesworth came back to practice on Thursday. He missed most of the week's preparation and practice but Shanny likes folks to play only when they've practiced. Plus his brother just died. Thus there are other reasons why he might be inactive besides laziness or rebellion. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
ok quick fantasy question .. i got screwed and had Run DMC ruled out in the late game so I had to scramble and I picked up Galloway .. i'm thinking now, should I maybe roll the dice and pick up Banks i have a crazy feeling he's going to run one back ????? Looking for some opinions .. HTTR

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
If you don't pressure Peyton Manning you lose.
Orakpo needs to have a monster game. |

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Whats Up Redskins Nation
Right now thus far we are in 3rd place and with the Cowboys falling apart we need to keep pace with the Eagles and Giants. I know this will be a tough game but we are at home and the Colts are a dome team, so maybe they wont be as fast on the grass. Lets hope we can open some holes for ATV to get our running game going. If we can keep it to 3rd a short we have a good chance of winning this game. I'm a little nervous but I do believe this team has a new attitude and they wont have a let down just because they won 2games in a row. Go Redskins fan for life HTTR. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Going to head to the Greene Turtle again to watch the game. Get a few beers with a friend and cheer on the Skins. I like this winning thing. Hopefully they keep it up! Makes Mondays soooooo much easier.
