Congrats to Deangelo Hall

Ties the all time NFL record with 4 Ints in a game, all time best for a half. I give major props to 23. We have all liked him and hated him at times lol. He won this game for us today.

I think he deserves his own thread :food-smil:goodjob:

You won't see that very often. Last time that happened was in 2001 with Deltha O'Neal. Congrats D.Hall because he was obviously one player that made a very huge difference in today's game.

Nope, Ive always like Hall. He will get beat sometimes (every corner does) and sometimes he might slip and fall when coming up to make a tackle, but he is a badass playmaker. Him and Carlos take more abuse on this team than anyone, but they're the best CB combo in our division and one of the tops in the conference.

Rogers will respond to this performance by dropping four INTs next week. LOL. Kudos to D. Hall.

Well I admit he has killed me at times but I love his playmaking abilities, great game .

Best half I've ever seen a corner have, and it wasn't just four INTs. He really got into that game at the start of the half and took it over.

Props to DHall for a fantastic 30 minutes of football that won us a game. He's been a chief player in two of our wins this year.

No doubt about that. I don't see how they can't give it to him.

Without Hall, we lose this game. Same might be said about the Cowboys game without his strip-TD. Best playmaking CB we've had since Champ. What a great game for D. Hall.

Re: Congrats to Deangelo Hall

Yep, great performance. The best performance I have ever seen from a Redskins corner in a very long time. As in individual effort it was probably the greatest half of football a corner may ever have. AH and Rak really payed hard as well.

7 sacks total for Rak now?

The one sack for AH was beast. Just shoving the OL player straight into Cutler.

Are you kidding, Hall and Landry have been beaten like ginger step-children the last couple of years and the whole defense has been last in the league in yardage allowed for the first 6 weeks of this year.

Landry is back in his natural position and doing well, AH had his 2nd good game of the year, and DeAngelo finally backed up some of his talk. But let's not forget all the let-downs the past few years -- Landry and Hall have given up more than they've taken, that's for sure.

Beastly day by Hall. It shows you the importance of actually having some hands.

DHall was not the only helpful playmaker on defense. Nonetheless, we would not have won the game without his off-the-charts heroics.

Yeah the negative with DHall though is he gives too much cushion to his receiver at times, which gives the quick slant, and a big game to the other team. But he's always been a great intercepting corner IMO, and today especially, I'm very, very happy he's on my team.

Re: Congrats to Deangelo Hall

Hall is going to the pro Bowl

2 games will solidify that...Hall's Halftime fumble strip return for a TD against Dallas with 4 seconds left.

4 picks against the bears tying and NFL record and 1 returned 93 yards for a TD...
We don't win these 2 games if he doesn't do this.

Yes,Hall has won us 2 games all by himself.

If hall does nothing else the rest of the season...he will at worse be an alternate.

Book it!

Not to toot my horn, oh hell I will. I thought at the beginning the season that D.Hall would be a Pro-Bowler and the Skins had one of the better secondaries in the NFC.

Congrats on NFC Defensive Player of The Week/Month.

Before the season started, I posted on my whiteboard at work that Hall and Landry would be pro-bowlers.

Boy you have a hard time letting stuff go don't you. Just give credit where it's due. Even if Hall and Landry were consistently great for the rest of the year I bet there will still be guys like you out there that wouldn't give them the time of day because they didn't always live up to your expectations.

Landry and Hall are having solid to great years. Past criticism should be kept there. Those two are proviing alot of thier critics wrong. I was one of Landrys last year. I have always been on Halls side as I know he is a play maker.

How about AH today Mooby! Seems as though some patience paid off with big Al.

Nope. He had 2, the 2 that made Favre break the career interception record, and he could've had a couple more, but it was just 2.

@AMFHOF: Yeah he was ballin today. Hopefully he'll be consistently like that for the rest of the season so we don't have to keep hearing about him and Shanny.

artmonkforhallofamein07 10-24-2010 07:25 PM

Re: Congrats to Deangelo Hall

I hear ya on that one.

So great to see him out there. He has played very well in the last 2 games he played. GREAT TO SEE. He makes our D much more dangerous.

the play in the first quarter was just so beast. I have not seen a man dominate and Olineman like that ever. He never touched Cutler but got the sack by pushing his man into the QB. That is amazing. Great strength there. Would love to hear the guys in the film room Tuesday reviewing that play.

Re: Congrats to Deangelo Hall

I'm gonna give him some extra props after this quote:
Right before we started warming up, I started thinking about him. It was kind of hard. I cried a little bit and I heard my younger brother say, 'You're crying over me?' I had to dry it up and be a big brother and play ball."
Good job AH.
