Romo Broken Clavicle
Well the title tells the story.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Prognosis
Healing time varies based on age, health, complexity and location of the break as well as the bone displacement. For adults, a minimum of 3–4 weeks of sling immobilization is normally employed to allow initial bone and soft tissue healing, teenagers require slightly less, children can often achieve the same level in two weeks. I wonder if this will influence DBoyz preictions??? |
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Put a fork in them for this season, they are done.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
cowboys are done now. kitna is not leading this team to a winning record, even if they win tonight. not with the schedule they have.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
I had to double check but the clavical is also the collarbone.

The O has done nothing the entire game its their D and the one return that got them to 20 points. |
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Yea, now let's correct the spelling in the thread title.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
HA! I called it right after the hit. I thought he may be ok after he tried to come back.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
8-10 weeks. Hello IR.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Adam Schefter just said 8-10 weeks, wow
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Schefter said recovery time of 8-10 weeks. I'm assuming under normal circumstances 3-4 weeks but too get back on the field 8-10 weeks.

I doubt the injurious departure of Romo will improve the Offensive outlook??? |

Dude thats my trade marke. |
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Will they resign Bartel?
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
yep. 8-10 weeks. romo is done, time to put him on ir and start rebuilding cowboys. hahaha. might actually be better now if the cowboys win this game, theres no way kitna has them rebound from 2-4/1-5 to make the playoffs. no way.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
So much for Jerrah's dream of a home game in the Super Bowl. Stick a fork in 'em.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Dayum!
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
I hear Jeff George is available.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
8-10 weeks, especially if they go to 1-5, he's going on IR. No reason to even risk further injury for the last couple games... .
How about the Giants? They've put out how many QB's so far this year? |
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Bye Bye Cowpukes!!!!!!!! We do need Donovan to step it up and shake the rust off or whatever is holding him back. It is now between us and the Gmen, although the Eagles do present a problem.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
The Cowboys will implode.
I feel so bad for them. |
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Did anyone notice when Romo was walking off how his left shoulder hung quite a bit lower then the right. I bet the fracture is closer to the inside part of the collar bone.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
I noticed he was trying to go back in the game. Good thing the doc pulled him back or his arm might have been torn off.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Don't be surprised if the pokes turn to Stephen McGee as their QB.

You don't correct firstdown's spelling. You only hope to contain it. Wonder if the Cowboys will sign Jeff Garcia. But really what they need is Jesus...Pineapple Jesus |
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Schadenfreude is off the charts right now...
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
I hope they dont sign Garcia.........

Okay...you just named the other 2 teams in the division. Cowboys are done but our next game against them becomes one we should win as in it would be embarrassing to lose. Eagles are solid and the Giants are looking really good so I am looking forward to the Skins playing them as kind of a benchmarking game. |
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
Where are people getting the 8-10 week number? I heard 4-6.
The Cowboys were a pretty bad (or at least badly coached) team with Romo. They'll get a little worse with Kitna probably, but it's not like they were winning with Romo under center. I'm more happy about this from a fantasy standpoint than anything else. The guy I'm neck and neck with for 1st place in my work league starts Witten and Miles Austin every week. |

Eagles are beatable, since we already have done it one. The Gmen are solid on both sides of the ball. If we can harass Eli, then we have a decent chance at splitting with them. This loss and the loss of Romo might signal the terminal decline of the Cowboys for the next 2-3 seasons. They have to replace that aging line, and other guys like Witten are not getting any younger. Bryant had the nice return, but as a WR he hasn't shown me he is anything special. |

Schadenfreude eh? The Warpath has got to be the smartest fan forum ever... I can no more imagine seeing Schadenfreude on an Eagles or Giants board (or on ExSkins for that matter) than I can see the Cowgirls coming back in this game. Nicely played BleedBurgundy. And all of our Skins fans in Germany are smiling right now. |

Oh gotcha. I was in the car when they made the announcement on ESPN radio and they were saying 4-6. 8-10 is fine though. ;) |
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
I never had my clavicle broken, but I think that I would be tentative for a long while after injuring it.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
I've had a broken collar bone. He ain't moving the bitch for 3 weeks tops. Even shifting the shoulder slightly makes it feel like your shoulder is slipping off since the collar bone acts like a front strut. God awful pain. After that it will still hurt like a son of a bitch but at least it won't feel like its gonna fall off. Mine still hurts now 13 years later if I put weight on it in the wrong way. I doubt he'd be ready to play until the last few games of the year. Even then it'll be pretty weak and one hit could rebreak it. I'd put a fork in him. Especially at 1-5. Hard to figure out how they make the playoffs from 1-5. No reason to play him if they have no chance anyways. What a disaster year for them.

Re: Romo Broken Clavical
I heard Quincy Carter kicked his cocaine habit
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
What was Jerry Jones thinking, putting this team together? Well, I guess it wasn't his fault being favored to win the conference.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
I would very weary to bring Romo back this year.
|
Re: Romo Broken Clavical
It doesn't matter when he comes back, the season will be well over for them by then. I hate playing teams playing for pride.
