I hope they take the Lions seriously this time around. We will probably win, but I still can't forget the day that the lions beat us, and ended their streak of losses at home. (Dating back 2 seasons, i believe).

I think last year they figured it would be an easy win. That's not gonna be the case this time around!

Tough place to play and Donovan McNabb really has to show up and not lose this game for us. You guys have seen my Gano thread, he will definitely miss one this week but go 3 for 4 I think.

Hey guys, we took the Rams for granted as well. I would like to think this is a game the Skins can win by double digits, but the Skins better show up to play this week, and McNabb better figure it all out. He needs to have one of those over 100 QB rating games this week.

By the way, you guys realize that this Sunday will be London Fletcher's 200th consecutive game started? And if Favre doesn't start Fletcher will hold the record for active players for most consecutive NFL starts? Amazing

I believe that not only is it important to beat the Lions, but to beat them decisively. The offense needs something to hang its hat on so that it has some confidence rolling into the tougher part of our schedule.

I did not know that but what an amazing job by Fletch, the guy is a HOF in my opinion.

And Stanton is a solid QB but I agree with u, I really dont want to play Stafford, dude has a cannon

I see this being the same as the Chicago game, except I think Detroit is better than Chicago. I hate to be the downer in the group, but I think Detroit's Dline is better, and Suh may neck wrestle McNabb out of the game.

This is what I've been preaching on this website for days now. This team is a few points away from being the best team in the NFC North, they lost to the eagles with Vick playing a Whole game. We need to take them seriously, whether they're 1-5 or 5-1, whether they have Shaun Hill or Matthew Stafford as their QB. And Oh yeah that Suh guy isn't playing like a rookie, nor is Jahvid Best.

The only pick 6 Carlos Rogers makes is when he picks up a 6 pack at the store! And I love the guy, but INTs are not his thing. There are no sure things in the NFL. Just ask the Saints (the Browns won you say?). This will go down to the end, like all of the Skins games have. I predict another heart attack game, that if we lose we will all have 2 weeks to stew over.

Suh is a stud but it takes more than 1 guy to take over.. Skins will be able to run the ball and use that play action really well.

Do you look at the individual teams, or just ask stereotypical questions?

I am not gonna talk about Dallas, cuz can't stand em.

Look at Detroit's game, and their players. They are vastly improved, and their coach has done what we preached here, FOCUS on the lines. Their Dline is very good. Their Oline is definitely better than Chicago's. They have at least one stud receiver, and one stud RB. Their weakness is their secondary. Well, we may hit all our passes, and we will blow them out, or AA may drop a bomb, McNabb will flub a few, etc. Should we win, yes. But if you think Detroit is the same 0fer type team we faced last year(and lost) than I think you are wrong.
