NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Miami-Chicago kicks off the weekend.
I don't know about you folks but I'm not a big fan of NFLN games, they just seem generic to me. Either way should be a good game |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Pretty ugly game. Seems to be mostly a defensive struggle.
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Idk how Miami has won 5 games? Their offense is horrendous

It may have something to do with the fact that they started their third string quarterback. Although I like Tyler Thigpen... |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Miami got hit with injuries to their olinemen in that game. Ritchie Incognito at center.
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Yea but their O has been bad all season

But they were at least able to score...and run the ball. I forgot, no Brandon Marshall(EPIC fantasy bust....*looks at Chico*) |

Same could be said for Chicago at times and they now have 7 wins. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Raiders went ICE COLD today 35-3

I could only be happier if the Cowboys lost, too. But I'll take a Raider beat-down any time. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Dallas is hot right now BUT it won't last long. They will still finish 5-11
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
I wasn't surprised at the Raiders failing. You just know that Pittsburgh and Jason Campbell don't mix.
As for those idiots who said START RUN DMAC, MATCHUPS don't matter, well, sometimes they do. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
And how about those Bills? How the hell did they get such an explosive offense?
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
That boy Fitzpatrick is on fire
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Its time for the BUNGLES to blow that team up

Damn. Being stocked at receiver really does make a difference. Receiver is clearly the most important position in football. Looks like the Bungles need to find some new ones. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
5-5 Biotches. Wait....... who said I was crazy for listing the Titans as one of my wins in my 9-7 or 10-6 season? Hmm? Go ahead start your roll call.
JK. I can only hope the Eagles and Giants slobberknock each other all night and have a bunch of injuries between the two with the Eagles losing. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Carson Palmer is finished. He's never gotten back to form after his knee blew up.
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
And to think Antonio Dixon was on our ****ing practice squad.
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Didn't take Coughlin and Co. long to figure out the best way to blitz Vick is to force him to his weak (right) side. Haslett fail.

Yeah, I was actually kinda hoping that Vick would embarress the Giants d today so last week wouldn't feel as bad, but the fact that the Giants D is taking care of business and has looked so far better than us is just hurting our defensive credibility even more. |

They also have a better front 4. McCoy may have saved me in fantasy. Now the Eagles D better hold. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
What a nice play in the Eagles-Giants game. Samuel with the pick, Bradshaw with the hit and forced fumble, and the Giants with the recovery, and they probably didn't lose any field position either.
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Brandon Jacobs as a receiver=50/50.
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Manning brothers choking hard today.

They actually gained a yard, and I think it was 1st down again. But that's a moot point since Eli just gave the game away by not sliding and fumbling the ball. |

Ha! Yeah it's pretty nice seeing the Giants screw up, redeem themselves, only to screw up again. And now McCoy broke off a nice run that should seal the deal for the Eagles. This game is giving me more confidence for our upcoming games against the Giants. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
McCoy should not have tried to stop. He should have pressed as far as possible so I could get more points.

McCoy should have fallen down on his own, he's gonna cost me the week if he keeps it up.:soapbox: |

LOL! Although my team has pretty much won, I'm glad they are running McCoy, he keeps padding the stats for my FFL team. |

Sports Fantasy Football The reason the dude had MJD and Andre Johnson is because I wanted McCoy. Sadly, he sent me Brandon Marshall, Steve Smith(NY), and Ronnie Brown as well, so I "lost" the trade, but Andre came through for me today. :D |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Steve Johnson and Brandon Lloyd are by far the Biggest surprises of the season.
Steve Johnson and Brandon Lloyd are by far the Biggest surprises of the season.
Lloyd, yeah. Orton, yeah. I'd say the surprising thing about Johnson is not that he's good, I think we knew that going in. It's surprising that they've given him a chance, meaning that they gave up on the underachieving but still tall James Hardy to make room for him. And it's surprising that Ryan Fitzpatrick has played enough to make it matter. But Johnson has been good since he came into the league.
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
Peyton Hillis has to be considered as one of the biggest surprises also

He was good at UK with Woodson. Fitz is on FIRE right now, It's unreal to look at the guys numbers every week. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread WEEK 11
I hate when players run their mouths then flop when someone touches them.
