Torain for the win!!! Forget the Grossman audition, just run it all day Kyle. You like to call too many pass plays. Our play calling stunk last week because Kyle is playing MADDEN 11 with Grossman at QB, throwing every down.

Go old school on their butts and lets run it at them, instaed of them doing it to us like last time.

Wow, how good would 7-9 feel after all the crap of this year. Can we win and get moved into the NFC WEST and take that last playoff spot?

Our season is over. Throw the rock. See what Grossman has. That's why we're throwing all the time. Plus, the NFL is a passing league. I think we saw first hand that Gibbs-esque football is dead. This is an offensive driven league, and a throwing league. Time to convert.

While the league has become more of a passing oriented league, thanks to rule changes, you still need to have a strong running game.

Thank you skinsguy. The way the Giants run the ball with Jacobs and Bradshaw and with the high number of picks Eli Manning throws, the Giants would already be in the playoffs if they ran it more and relied on Eli less.

Throwing every down with Sexy Rexy doesn't show you anything about Rex except what he can or can't do without a balanced attack. Playaction doesn't work when there is no run action.

Look at the Patriots, they don't even really pass anymore until they get close to the endzone. Green-Ellis and Woodhead are just running over or around people all day. Brady is not putting up eyepopping yardage, just TDs with no picks, because they don't HAVE to throw.

The Giants are playing for a spot in the playoffs and we are playing for pride. The Giants have beaten us 5 times in a row so this needs to stop now if we want to be taken serious in our on divison. The Giants have no Hicks or S.Smith at wide out like the last game but they kicked our ass any way. Will our defense stand up and stop the run? If not we may have another long day. Our offense has to take care of the football and put it in the end zone to make the Giants have to pass for us to force Eli into throwing picks. If we get down early and the Giants can run then why would Eli have to throw it. This game our offense needs to start fast by scoring early and often to help our defense.

We have played better the last few games but this game will show how truly good our backup players really are against 1st notch players. Our O-Line will be tested by G-Men pass rush.

If you check any news outlet it will tell you whether game times have been changed.

The NFL switched all games with playoff implications to either 4:15 or 8:30 in Seattle-St. Louis' case so that no teams would know before kickoff whether they are playing a meaningful game or not.

Were his pre-snap reads more accurate? Did he go through his progressions and pick the right receiver a greater percentage of the time?
Manning certainly might have graded out higher in these areas, but I would suggest that the spike in yards probably had more to do with the transition to younger receivers, especially Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham, who have been much more productive after the catch. The yards-after-catch of Manning’s receivers went from 1,220 in 2008, the last year of Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer, to 1,737 in 2009 and 1,645 in 2010.
The elusiveness of Nicks and Manningham led the Giants to successfully incorporate the wide receiver screen as a staple in their offense. Here are some examples from the past two years:
