Jason Cambell just cant catch a break

That mofo has had more breaks than a KitKat bar. He just sucks. End of story. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
So the Raiders basically decided Terrelle Pryor was worth their 3rd round pick in 2012...and Jason Campbell was worth their 4th round pick

you heard if we submitted a bid? 3rd sounds a little high to where I thought he go |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
I don't belive we submitted a bid. But I don't know for sure. Still, didn't get any indication we would
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Somewhere right now, Vinny is foaming at the mouth not being able to one up Al by submitting a 2nd rounder for TP.
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Well i guess there is justice for TP...you've been banished to NFL purgartory

Sounds about right for the raiders..... Hopefully theyre not trying to convert JC to a reciever. They looked the best they have had in a long long time last season too. Hopefully Pryor works out for them. |

So F***ing true. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
That is great. Good for Raider Nation. 3rd Round was a steal.
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
My thoughts & prayers go out to the Pryor family.

Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Campbell will outlast him, Pryor will never get on the field, he'll never be close to accurate enough.
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Glad someone else took him. We don't need that drama.

Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
AdamSchefter For ther 2nd, 3rd and 4th-rd pick in 2012, Raiders now have QB Jason Campbell, QB Terrelle Pryor, RB Taiwan Jones and OL Joseph Barksdale
/facepalm |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
I KNEW that 4.38 forty was TOOOO much for Al to pass up!
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
The Raiders sure love those speedy WRs!
Though right now the title of worst NFL team has to go to the Bengals. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
AdamSchefter Adam Schefter
Terrelle Pryor was only player selected today. No other players were drafted; those players are now free to sign with any team. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Thank God he's not a Redskin.
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Not too many guys around that can run 4.3 at 6-6. The Raiders are drafting him to play wr. If he embraces it, and takes to the coaching, it could be a good pick. But no way would i have given up a 3rd rounder for him. But I'm actually rooting for Oakland this year. Lot's of former Skins that were good people....Jackson, Rock, JC and Saunders.
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Oakland continues to FAIL
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
I didn't think he was worth taking at rounds 1-4. Not because he is not talented, but because of all the baggage. I believe he's 1st round talent personally, but there's that ever present risk that he would need to be cut from the team ala Vince Young.
A fifth rounder would be low enough to invest in order to take that risk. The lower the investment, the lesser the commitment. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Better the Raiders then us, now if another team will step up and take one for the NFL and suck bad enough in order to take Luck off our board as well.
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Hahahaha ... needed a good laugh to start the afternoon off. I disagree with people's thoughts about VC -- he would have given up this year's and next year's firsts to get TP

Hate to defend Vinny but if he was still in charge (aside from being dead myself from a self inflicted gunshot wound) he would be putting all his effort into proving Jimmy Clausen was worth the 4th overall pick.
The Raiders sure love those speedy WRs!
No love for Heyer?
I do not know of this man you speak of. |

Yeah I kinda wish the Raiders well actually. I think they would have deserved a lot of criticism if they had drafted Pryor as a QB, but it seems that they are drafting him as a wideout. Still not the best move for them, but I don't get the all the hate from people. |

Would this be 200 A.D. or B.C.? LOL |

Well back then the facilities were to the Raiders advantage. Opposing teams wouldn't bring their star players to arenas for fear of having their stars being eaten by rogue lions that were "accidentally" left out of their cage. |

Also, I'm sure a youthful 40-year old Al Davis made better decisions back in the 200s. LOL. |

He's a mini-McNabb. Looks the part, says all the right things, and has fan sympathy but, not clutch at all. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Typical of an organization as screwed-up as the Raiders to pick Pryor. He will be out of the league by 2014.

200 B.C. probably, wasn't that when Al was born? |

TP in OAK, perfect fit.....LOL. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
I don't think Pryor will do anything with the Raiders. Maybe a better organization someday.
But when you consider that the last player to go in the third round of the supplemental draft was Jeremy Jarmon to us in the third round...well, this isn't much of a reach if one at all. In general, the supplemental draft is not the place to find good bang for your buck. Like I said, I don't think Terrelle Pryor will make it with the Raiders. 50ish percent of third round picks in general washout without becoming starters. Pryor is buried at WR there, and while there's an opening at quarterback after the season when all their players are free agents, it's unlikely that Pryor gets the opportunity. If he has Seneca Wallace's career though, then he's basically the average midround pick. Nothing more, nothing less. |
Typical of an organization as screwed-up as the Raiders to pick Pryor. He will be out of the league by 2014.
Which certainly would not be unheard of for a third round pick in 2011.
