2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
(My annual request for a sticky)
Wondering if the Redskins game (or some other unimportant game you want to watch for some unknown reason) will be on TV in your local market? Check out the maps on this site. Click where you live and it will tell you what station to watch. http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/ Thank you. |
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps

Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps

Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
I like Troy and Joe actually
|
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
I've always thought Troy was extremely fair to us (remember, we haven't given him much reason to praise us lately).
It's Moose Johnston I hate. He's negative even when the Redskins are having a decent season, like during the 2 years under Gibbs. |

Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
We can watch the Giants lose on national TV in week 2...against the Rams on MNF.
|
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
Uh I just looked at my TV guide and it has the Steelers listed on Fox and the Ravens playing on CBS. Lame
|
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
this map is still showing preseason?
|
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
You can go back and look at the preseason, but they're keeping it current.

Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
We got Chris Meyers and Tim Ryan doing our game, thats real good news. Tim Ryan is really good. I think this is Chris Meyers first year doing the games. Id take them over Derp and Derp we had doing it last week.
Question: On the CBS early game, Is the Baltimore game being blacked out up there? Wouldnt think that was going on up there. |
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
Looks like the B-more area won't be getting the game because the Ravens are on CBS. Luckily I have Comcast DC Fox FTW!

Question: On the CBS early game, Is the Baltimore game being blacked out up there? Wouldnt think that was going on up there.
Yeah looks like south of Columbia, MD Ravens are blacked out and North of Columbia, MD Skins are blacked out. That is some BS right there. |
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
i love this site but it is a real challenge for a color blind person.

You can always ask and we'll help you out. |
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
Are you serious?
You can always ask and we'll help you out.
Yes I am serious, I usually have someone at work tell me. What makes it difficult is that the color on the map is not exact to what is in the key. Usually a good work around is to do this if I am confused where the game will be televised. Say I want to know if the Ravens game will be shown in LA; well i will look at the key to determine their color; this week it seems like they are orange. then I look at the map near B-more (most likely the game will be shown there sans a blackout) and now I know what orange looks like on the map. Then I would just look at LA and see if that color matches the B-more area color. I have to do that all the time in excel with color charts it is a pain but there are worst things in life. |
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
Miracle! In PA, I'm getting the Panthers-Skins game!
|
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
As for the color-issue, I just found that if you click where you are on the map and get your CBS/FOX affiliate to come up, it will tell you the game you'll see.

Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
ravens game at 1, skins game at 4. youd think the skins game would be on in baltimore but no . .. . no it is not.
is the ravens game on around DC? edit - ok something weird is happening. 1) the map for balt says cbs has double header, so is that why the skins game isnt on? 2) the map says no nfl game for balt at 1 bc of nfl rules. does that mean a blackout? wtf? theres no way the ravens didnt black out . . .unless i was at this bar on route 40 thursday night waiting for my lady to get her hair done. anyways 4 raven cheerleaders come in and give away some prizes and enter people into a free raffle for ravens tickets on sunday. they called out the winner like an hour later . . . i wonder if ravens didnt sell out against the cards? double edit - everything besides the map shows the ravens game on fox at 1. but CBS SHOUD BE SHOWING THE FREAKIN SKINS GAME AGAINST THE AFC HOME TEAM BILLS AT 4 intead of the steelers pats. **** the ****ing assholes at cbs. there exec i think i posted a link to his qoutes, claiming there are no skins fans in balt but if you go down to DC there are a ton of ravens fans on why DC shows ravens games and honors the secondary market but balt doesnt. **** them. |
In bmore ravens on fox @1 no skins at 4. If in Howard or Hartford skins on 255 or 75 Comcast @4

Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
those bastards at cbs. they decided to show the steelers pats instead clearly violating the secondary market agreement.
so ****ing pissed right now. granted i was looking for something to get me all pissed off first thing in the morning and ruin my day. |

sly doesnt carry nonalcoholic beer so i havent actually gone yet this season b/c id have to go by myself which always makes me feel kinda weird/uncool. ive gone solo plenty times before but idk its just different, noone to talk to even though ive/we have meet and made friends every time. i basically have to "pick up" another solo guy at the bar to talk football with. . lol. ive been going to city limits down the street bc sly is about a mile away. prob with limits is they have small tvs with every game on so its usually packed with fantasy people. i dont really like two of the bartenders at sly. i know theyre busy and all but we know the owners at limits, real cool couple. he got in his car and drove to get my lady a six pack of NA beers week 3 when they ran out of them. except for being surrounded by skins fans, i really dont like anything about sly fox. plus their beers are expensive. oh well, i probably will go to sly fox b/c by 12 every seat in limits is packed and people dont give them up till 6-7. |
Re: 2011 NFL TV Distribution Maps
