Rams-Seahawks thread
Shaping up to be a very good game, Seattle just scored to go up 20-17, Rams blew all their timeouts in the 3rd qtr
|
Hawks Hawks Hawks...
|
I'd love to see the Seahawks finally win one, especially with Torry "I Hate Getting Hit" Holt on the other team.
|
Yeah I'm pullin for Seattle, but the Rams clock managment has been piss poor. Not only in the second half, but they blew two timeouts on the first drive in the 1st quarter. Although they did get a TD out of the drive. Seattle defintley has some momentum with them right now, and I think they are going to win it as long as they can keep up the pressure on Bulger.
Plus there is a guy in the front row on the Seahawks side sporting a D. Green Jersey!! |
This is a quarterback duel-and-a-half we're watching here...
D. Green eh? Excellent. I also share your sentiment. Sundays are now this much more depressing... |
**********BREAKING NEWS ********************
There are some phantom PI calls going on in Seattle!!!! Always shocking when officals help decide the games :banghead: |
Very Redskin-esque.
|
faulk hasn't looked this good all season... he really gets up for the playoffs.
|
I'm going for Seattle. Hopefully they can burn some clock now that the game is tied. Give it to Shaun Alexander and pound down their throats.
If only Tim could be as good as his brother... |
Faulk is great, I'd just love to see the Seahawks knock off the Rams this year. If there were to be a surprise team make it to the Super Bowl this year, I wish it would be Seattle. Anyone know the last time they even played in the Super Bowl (if at all)?
|
If you remember at the end of the 2003 season, Tim was actually a pretty good quarterback. A better option for 2nd string than Brunell if you ask me.

Seattle has never been to the big Dance. In fact, if I'm not mistaken I dont even think they have been to a Conference Championship game. I'll check. |

Shoot they haven't even won a playoff game in 20 years! |
Hmmmm... then, yes, I'd definitely love to see them make it. If the Redskins aren't going to win it this year, then I would love to see someone like the Seahawks. I'm tired of the Patriots and I want to see the whole city of Philadelphia implode with they lose AGAIN in the playoffs.:)

Amen. I hate Philly.. |
I was wrong. They were in one AFC Title game in 1983 against the Raiders and lost 30-14..... even though I wasent alive, anyone else wishing the Seahawks won that one?
|
At the ripe age of 2, I was crapping in my Huggies for the Seahawks.
|
Seriously, cause the Raiders whooped our ass in the superbowl that year.
|
Well win or loss for the Rams.... If htey go to Philly next week, I will be their #1 fan.
|
On a complete side note, I went to a Redskins game this year and could have sworn that I saw a tailgating tent set up with a "thewarpath.net" banner put up. Does anyone know if I was just seeing things or did they really have a tent set up because I have a co-worker whos selling me ALL of his home game season tickets and I would love to party with some of the people on this site.
And yes, the Raiders were bastards. |
Agreed 100%. Here's a question for you:
If the Cowboys and Eagles were to play in the playoffs this year, who would you want to win? (try to keep that last loss against the Cowboys out of your mind) |

They pretty much told me exactly where they were, and I couldnt find them, so I dont know if there was a big tent. I'm planning on hitting up the home opener again as long as its not the Eagles, so hopefully I can meet up w/ some guys then. |

(try to keep that last loss against the Cowboys out of your mind)
Well that last loss to Dallas was the first real deep down HATE I ever felt for them. I know its my duty as a Redskin fan, but they hadent given me a real reason up to that point to make them any different from another team. Even with that last loss, I HATE HATE HATE the Eagles. I would paint my face blue and silver and run around in a Roy Williams jersey if it gaurnteed the Ealges would lose. I f___ing hate them with so much passion. But luckily, I dont have to make that decision!!! |
If I remember correctly, they were in the next-best parking area. Looked like they were frying up some big ass burgers. I was lucky enough to have my girlfriend (who's almost as big a Redskins freak as I am) bring a nice cooler of beer to drink while we sat in our $25.00 (it might have been $35.00) GENERAL admission parking spaces. I love you Dan Snyder.
|
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... I had to laugh heartily at that one.:)
I agree that it is also my duty as a Redskins fan to hate the Cowboys, but just as of late, the Eagles have been such bigger assholes to deal with. That late loss though, brought the Cowboys a notch ahead of the Eagles on my all-time most hated team list. |
Game over, 27-20 Rams win.
I thought the Skins had problems w/ dropped balls this year... |
wow, Seattle's WR's must have Rod Gardner syndrome
|
Ugh...oh well. I guess I'll root for the Vikings as my upset team this year.:(
|
damn that really sucks, i wanted the hawks to win. hasselbeck looked so sad afterwards. i feel for him, he played awesome.
|
Would have been sweet if it would have went into overtime again and he could have said "We want the ball. We're going to win." and actually have won.
Blacksburg represent. Lots of friends going to VT and living in Blacksburg/Radford. |
wow, Seattle's WR's must have Rod Gardner syndrome
Seattles WR corps created that syndrome. Last play of the game - I'm going to Jerry Rice. |
yeah, but that was a broken play kinda, matt didnt know if he wanted to run or pass, so i think he just saw that engram was flashing across the middle, and made a pretty good pass. hit him right in the hands
|
Hit him right in the hands, that's a catch you've got to make
