cpayne5 01-11-2005 03:11 PM

Good riddance.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-11-2005 03:12 PM

Can't get enough of that fair-weather...

And I'm hitting the century mark with this post.:)

Riggo44 01-11-2005 03:26 PM

 He can have the Eagles and there annual tradition of collapsing in the playoffs!! :Flush: Go Vikings!!!! :FIREdevil

:httr:

Redskins_P 01-11-2005 03:26 PM

:stop:

what a *@$#%&$&#@!!!!!!

thats all I have to say..

TheMalcolmConnection 01-11-2005 03:32 PM

As I've said in many posts. Astronauts will be able to see the city of Philadelphia implode from space after this year's impending collapse.

saden1 01-11-2005 03:34 PM

Great things are going to happen this year? Not without TO they ain't! Stinkston and Flinchal aren't taking this team anywhere.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-11-2005 03:35 PM

Honestly, I think that they would even collapse with TO playing.

The Eagles folding in the playoffs is like a fact of science. Much like how the Vikings fold at the end of the regular season. (The last playoff game surprised the hell out of me.)

firstdown 01-11-2005 04:02 PM

In the 80s he was probably thinking. Why did I switch? Why did I switch? Can I switch back and find new friends? In the start of 2004 he was probaly thinking. No, not joe gibbs again. No, not joe gibbs again. In early 2005 he lives with a false sence of security of superbowl hopes and that the Skins won't kick their ass twice in 2005!!

Gmanc711 01-11-2005 04:07 PM

What a jackass.

Go Vikings!!!

MTK 01-11-2005 04:16 PM

True fans don't switch teams, in fact true fans can't switch teams.

I wish it was that easy to just say I'm not a Skins fan anymore.

skinsfanthru&thru 01-11-2005 05:30 PM

wow, that was so sweet...for me to poop on!!

what a joke. like Matty said, true fans not only don't, but can't switch teams. Cheering for the skins is a part of who I am and there's nothing that I could ever fathom that could make me want to cut that part of myself away.

itvnetop 01-11-2005 05:53 PM

i couldn't even read the article... once i read the headline, i just about lost my appetite.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-11-2005 06:15 PM

I agree with Matty and skinsfan. Sadly, the Redskins rank in the top 3 of things that I care about most in this world, and even more sad, is that sometimes on certain days (Sundays) that list shifts very dramatically in the Redskins favor.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-11-2005 06:16 PM

I mean I've tried to like other sports like baseball, basketball... I mean not only are the Redskins my favorite team, football is my favorite sport. Just like Matty says, I CANNOT like any other sport, or even begin to enjoy it as much as football.

SASpen00XIII 01-11-2005 08:49 PM

Ouch. Switching your teams this late in the game is like cheating on your wife. I think you can really only switch teams if they a)move cities or b) become so incompetent over the years you just can't do it anymore (like Arizona Cardinals fans- do they in fact exist???) Discuss.....

TheMalcolmConnection 01-11-2005 09:07 PM

LOL.

No, there is no such thing as Arizona Cardinals fans.

They are a myth like leprechauns, unicorns, and Sasquatch.

Honestly, I would have thought that I saw Sasquatch ride into the stadium on a unicorn and have a leprechaun on his lap before I would actually see an Arizona Cardinals fan.

Daseal 01-11-2005 10:20 PM

You can cheer for another team, and I do on many occassions. There are other teams I really like, but the Redskins come first always! Never like another NFC East team! Soon the Eagles will be back at the bottom of the division. Tied with Dallas for last!

I must admit - I love to see Arizona win, especially against a good team! They'll have fans soon, Denny Green is a great coach!

NY_Skinsfan 01-11-2005 11:27 PM

i can't root for another team but i don't mind rooting for individual players to do well. for instance, i wouldn't mind seeing peyton win a superbowl...what a way to finish a great year.

CROOKEDSKINS 01-12-2005 12:35 AM

He will be the first ASSHOLE to be wearing a Skins shirt and hat next year when were
back on top saying ive been there all along.I hate fans like him.

BleedBurgundy 01-12-2005 01:44 AM

He should have listed his warpath screen name: DENIMMONGER!!!

I know this is kind of silly but I kind of want Minnesotta to win(especially now that San Diego is out) cuz then the skins could say they were the last team to beat the last two defending SB champs in the respective years of each team's championship. I just think it'd be kinda kewl that the last time the Pats suffered a loss before last year's SB was against the skins and now the same possibility could hold true for the vikes.

Doesn't sound silly at all skinsfanthru&thru. I never even thought about that. Pretty cool.

They'll have their fans, but most of them will be the definition of fair-weather. Then again, they haven't really been in Arizona THAT many years.

I do enjoy seeing the Cardinals play spoiler.

jdlea 01-12-2005 09:18 PM

Like Matty said, that guy couldn't have been a true Skins fan, because we can't turn it off. Unfortunate as it is, I will always be a die hard Skins fan. That scares me just thinking about it...

Every year looks promising and every year they rip your heart right out. Keep in mind, I'm too young the remember the Super Bowls.
