Where Is He Now?
 

In case anyone here cares about the whereabouts of Michael Westbrook, here is an item from the Cleveland Plain-Dealer:

"Former NFL players Michael Westbrook and Jarrod Bunch and 370-pound boxer Eric "Butterbean" Esch will be among those fighting in "King of the Cage" bouts Feb. 25 at the arena (Cleveland State University Convocation Center)."


You'd have to pay me to go and see that nonsense, but I bet they'll draw a crowd...

I wonder if Stephen Davis will be subscribing.

That is why if the Redskins decide to draft a WR high in the draft..they might need to think twice....

Desmond Howard then Michael Westbrook.....cringggeee!

I'm hoping FA will give us a better result in finding our gem at WR.

You can't worry about past draft flops though, if WR is a need you have to consider taking the best WR available.

Last I heard, Albert Connell was playing for Montreal in the Canadian League.

That was about a year ago so he could be lots of other places by now. Just so Redskins Park is not on his future itinerary

What a joke Michael Westbrook was and is. I hope he gets what is coming to him. What he did to S. Davis was f-ed up. I hope butter bean falls on him.

I guess you could argue we are due for a successful WR pick. We should go after a guy G. Williams says he will have trouble defending and Gibbs won't have trouble coaching.

You guys are carnivorous beasts. One day a player is a good Redskin and the next day you’re ready to slit his throat. Notwithstanding sucker punching Davis (anyone know why he did?), the biggest problem with Westbrook was that he got hurt.

Be fucking reasonable people.

Albert Connell was most recently with the Calgary Stampeders, he's currently a free agent (restricted I believe)

Having met both Connell and Westbrook, my personal opinion is that off the field there is no comparison between the two. Connell was one of the rudest, most classless people I've ever met. I'd put Leslie Shepherd down there with him but not quite as low as AC. Westbrook is actually quite engaging off camera.

On the field, I would tend to agree with Saden in that Westbrook's biggest problem was that he could just never stay healthy.

i loved westbrook and davis.the dumbest thing westbrook ever did was sling his helmet in the gus ferrotte head butting game,which cost us 15 yards and a win against the giants in 98.
