Thomas in the 3rd would probably be a bit of a reach, no?

Yeah, I can see another OL being taken, and I wouldn't be mind a bit... But since we pursued E. Royal, a slot WR/RS, I've assumed the FO wants an upgrade and will look to address that position in the draft.

After RG3 I have no idea who they would take. I have my preferences but I doubt they pick them. Maybe we should look at who the scouts have talked to already as a guide. Some of you have I think already added some of these picks to your lists.

I was thinking the same thing about Royal . I guess I see it as we have Hankerson , Armstrong , Paul and Austin who all need the work / experience and another inexperienced guy is probably going to have little impact ? Maybe if Broyles falls into rd 6 , I just don't see a need @ wr .

My quasi realistic homer pick - David Wilson, RB, Va. Tech in the 3rd.

He's falling to a late 2nd ranking, if he's there when we're on clock in 3rd he'll be hard to pass up. I know Helu is similar to him but Wilson is a home-run hitter, great team guy w/lot of charisma, and returns kicks as well.

More so than any of the other picks, I think our 3rd rounder will likely be more of a 'best player available' pick than any of the others, since we have no 2nd. From 4th - 7th I see them getting needs moreso.

After RG3, it's likely several guys will be drafted that were under the radar. Even the TV scouts (and networks) will be scrambling to find highlights to show and reason for the selections.

Let's be real here, I know that the secondary probably needs the most work out of any position on the team. However, i think that judging on how we signed all of these safties and corners who are coming off injuries or are older, i feel as though the Shannahans will just get a committee going into this season similar to how they did with WR last year. I hope they'll wait to seriously invest into pursuing starters at safety (in the draft) and/or cornerback (free agency) until next season.

I'm under the impression that they will seek a viable option to take over the other inside linebacker spot now (and hopefully re-sign Fletcher) so that he can begin to learn under Fletch now. I see a lot of potential in Kendricks so that's why i chose him.

If Ryan Broyles is available by the time our second fourth rounder rolls around i believe they won't be on the clock longer than 3 seconds before they turn in their selection. I believe they will be seeking a slot receiver in the draft after they attempted very hard at getting Eddie Royal this offseason. If Broyles can get healthy and return to his previous form, he will be a steal at this stage of the draft.

I could definitely see the Skins going for a slot receiver in the draft. I agree with you that Broyles would be a great 4th round pick.

If the Skins are unable to land Broyles, they could go after Danny Coale of VT a little later in the draft. I think he has the makings of a good slot receiver, as well.

I would like to see them give the guys on the roster a chance to be the slot reciever. I think between Robinson, Moss, and Austin, there is a good shot someone emerges as a good slot reciever this year. Rome was not built in a day, they need ILB, CB, FS, SS, and OL. I think they should lean towards best player available in those areas.

I know he has an attitude problem IMO but Chris Rainey would be perfect.
