What is the NFL Legends game? Never heard of it.

darrell green is probably faster and in better shape then any body on this forum.

The Old Timer's game is usually highly entertaining... sometimes someone will make a nice catch and you'd be surprised at the shape some of these people are in (bad and good).

As much as I want to say that won't happen and DG is a first ballot Hall of Famer, with what's happened with Monk you never really know.

DG worked with the media hand in hand - did he not? He gave them what they wanted, and I bet they'll give him what he wants.

They better! After Monk, I just don't know...

If Green doesn't make the HOF, then I will personally hunt down Peter "Burger" King and stab him in the neck with a pen.......Joe Pesci style...

The best would be if DG gets in and during his induction speech mentions that Monk deserved to be in years ago. Hopefully Monk will be in by then though.

i know DG is in extremely better shape than my fat ass...

DG should be a first ballot inductee...HOF '07 (or '08, math's a bit fuzzy at 4 in the afternoon) could very well be with Monk...

Darrell Green played for 20 years with the same team, and I read that he is the only player in all of pro sports to do so (or he may be tied with someone older). In addition, he was the top, or at least one of the top players at his position for the majority of his tenure. And even in his last few years, he still could have been a starter on most teams. He was a shut-down corner before that term was invented.
He will be a first ballot HoF inductee without a doubt.

I'm perfectly round and round is a shape so I'm in perfect shape and Darrell Green can't top that. So there! :)

maybe in pro football, but not all of pro sports...Brooks Robinson played for the O's for 23 seasons. Cal Ripken also played for the O's for over 20 years...among others. i know it's baseball and all, but that is still impressive, all with one team.
