Guess we won't be getting OJ otogwe then...

Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
Listed as a strong safety. So we're still left w/ just Williams and Doughty at FS right?

Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
Current S's
SS- Meriweather, Gomes, Doughty, Pugh FS- Williams, (Gomes when Meriweather comes back) Don't understand out why we signed another SS, instead of a young devolpemental FS, to possibly start if Williams continues to struggle. "The Real" Phillip Thomas would be a player I hope the FO considers down the road, if they had any "real, legit" interest in the first place. |
Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
I think everyone has to remember that whether we agree or not- Haslett considers both safety positions on the field as interchangeable.
This may be another player that Raheem Morris is familiar with - in former opposing division scouting reports. |

Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
Seriously though, why does no one want Melvin Bullit. He's young, he was a special teams captain in indy, he was a great backup. Why?!?

Still, great find performance-wise, and we need our leadership to find a diamond in the rough like this that can play. Maybe we can't get the next Ed Reed, but maybe we luck out with the next James Harrison.

Because...I don't know who he is lol. Seriously though I'm not opposed to bringing in whomever as I really think Morris will have his group performing well consistently. |
Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
probably someone morris suggested. anyone we pick up now is pretty much going to be staring average (or below average) in the face.

I was one for Melvin Bullit, i remember when he stepped in for Bob Sanders a few years back and played pretty well. |
Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
The good news ....... we won't play against a better qb / passing attack all year .

Bullitt is fast. trust me on this. I think his 40 time was something like .0034 seconds. That is his unconfirmed time though. I think his confirmed time is around .0038 seconds. still fast though. He would sure give doughty a run for his money. |

Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
We have some tough games against good passers who are backed by solid defenses: Baltimore, Atlanta, Pittsburg, New York, Dallas and Philly twice. While none of these are "high-powered" in the sense of last year's New Orleans team, they are no slackers and each can produce a lot of points quickly. IMHO, Baltimore and Atlanta may turn out to be newest entry into the "high powered" Offense categaory. Each one of these teams has a much better defense than NO.
Baltimore is going to be very, very good this year. I think the AFC championship is a replay of last year's game but in Baltimore this time. |

Washington Truly maybe the Mayan calendar was right... |

It's not an IR-worthy injury in terms of severity. He should be back in 6-8 weeks I'd say. If his replacement is an upgrade though, he could be gone. Injury settlement? |

Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
Justin Snow played his college ball at Baylor.
:pimp: |
Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
Justin Snow is listed as a TE on Rotoworld.com, I guess that means Cooley is not coming back! (sad face)
|
Re: Safety Dance: Jordan (Pugh) in for Jordan (Bernstine)
That sucks why the hell would be bring in a TE NOT named Chris Cooley!
Like another said, he deserves to be part of this. |
