Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
He deserves that and more.

Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
I just read that article on profootballtalk. Griffin III has been impressive since opening day of the season. He's on pace to break a lot of records and cement his name in the record books.

Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
Man maybe he should have been the number 1 pick...oh well good for us!
|
Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month

Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month

Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
I'm so glad Peyton Manning refused to sign with the Redskins in free agency. What more could we want other than Robert Griffin III?
|
Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
Great job and well deserved! At this rate he should make rookie of the year hands down.
|
Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
It's about damn time that he won rookie of the month after being overlooked all of those other months.
|
Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
Next up, Player of the Year. Then...GOAT.

You know what, the salary cap hit may have been the best thing to happen to us. We might have signed Manning if we could have been able to afford it. |

The salary cap hit came down the afternoon before free agency was set to begin. |
Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
Well deserved to be sure

Is that true or did we decide we wanted to make the trade with the rams? I remember hearing peyton was alittle stunned when he heard the news of the trade? He was having lunch with someone and they told him about the skins trade and said he looked stunned? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
what date did he reject us?
Unsure of the date but it was within 3 days of his release. On or around March 8 from a quick google search.. March 10 was RG3 trade, cap penalties came down March 12, free agency began March 13. |
Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
Manning and the Redskins met on March 11th, the day after the Redskins-Rams trade. That meeting is when it became "official"

Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
Peyton Manning should make the easiest transition to become a color commentary guy when his career is over of any player ever I think. He is smart, articulate, humble, and funny.

Well deserving

Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
When I was in college during finals, me and my buddy went to Waffle House at 3am (as you do) and each ordered 3 eggs, 3 strips bacon, 3 links sausage, covered and smothered hash browns, and a side of wheat toast. Waitress comes back, "Can I get yas anything else?" Yes, everything, again. Same meal, again.
That's what I'd do with Robert Griffin. I'd give up 3 first rounders and a second rounder. And then double it. And it'd still be delicious. |

He's a great QB in a different way. We'd still be good with Luck/have the same record, I think. Keep in mind, Luck can run too. People think he just sits in the pocket, he moves if he needs to. |

RGIII presser on ESPN 980 is excellent.
He is the franchise QB we so desperately needed. Incredible person, great physical talent and better than advertised in the draft. |
