To be fair Vick plays in a more aggressive, downfield passing offense where he's asked to do more in the passing game. If Philly designed their offense like the Shanahan's have designed ours Vick might have less Int's and a higher completion %. But damn he simply can't hold onto the ball. |

Lot of coaches/QBs on the hot seat.
Romo/Garrett Though Garrett less so Vick/Reid Matt Cassell Rivers/Turner Sanchez/Ryan |

Cutler/Smith - how many chances do they get? Gabbert - disaster rookie year, if he doesn't step up big this year I think they'll move on. Round 1 QBs are cheaper than they used to be. Josh Johnson - same as Gabbert. One good season, has been bad since. |

cutler and rivers have the talent, just can't put a complete one together.

I agree |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
just because he took his o-linemen out for back shaves and glamour shots doesn't make him nuts. it's what he did w the shaven back hair during the glamour shots that makes him nuts.

I think The love for Griff is a little over blown.. I know I know don't kill me please but I'm just saying for someone to say he's already better than mike vick ever was pretty much is kinda stretching it. I'm the biggest RGIII fan like all of us here believe me but I just don't want people already saying he's a legend. Kid is damn good and he's taking this team very far really soon I'm js.

This is something I expect to hear from a fan who's been around for the past five years or so. So me of us have suffered so long that RGIII is clearly beyond anything we've seen. I will rein in my adulation when he proves otherwise, which I don't believe he will. |

Since I've been watching Skins games since '78ish I've NEVER seen the potential in another QB that RGIII shows. Not even close. He'll have 4 Superbowl rings before he's done. Dude is class, style, speed, skill in one pill. |

But what was Reid thinking when you replace a legend like former defensive coordinator Jim Johnson with your offensive line coach Juan Castillo? However, I wonder if there is a working mirror in any of Andy Reid's bathrooms? The Eagles offense is 31st in committing turnovers. The offense is leading the NFL with 55 turnovers in the last two seasons. Juan Castillo is the fall guy for Reid and Vick. |

They look pretty good this year and might be the most complete team in the NFC outside of the Giants. |

Romo/Garrett Though Garrett less so
Lol, I'm sorry but who are they going to replace Romo with. Right now we are looking at one of the worst QB drafts in recent history at least in terms of draft day. Well then again Matt Barkley might free fall on draft day so I guess they could get him but still. |

But I agree, hiring an 0-line coach to run your defense is un heard of in the NFL. Glad to see Bowles get a shot. |

Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
Up here in NYC, Giants fans already talking smack. Talking all kinds of major bs. Their chest is stuck out because of that gimme SB run they had last year. But the Redskins got their number, I tell them. If the NYG couldn't topple the Redskins with Rex Grossman at the helm, just imagine what RG3 will do!

There's no chance the bears fire Smith, he is a winner every year almost.
Romo isn't leaving Dallas he's only 32 and is pretty damn good |

Romo isn't leaving Dallas he's only 32 and is pretty damn good
You might be right about Smith, although there have been others with winning records that have been fired cause they couldn't get over the hump....ie; Schottenheimer and the Chargers. But....I'll politely dissagree with you in regards to Romo. He was decent maybe the first two or three yrs but it seems to me that teams have his number and that is if you rush him or if he has to play catch up he seems to fail. It also seems to me that when he screwed up on that holding of the FG and they were knocked out of the playoffs he has not been the same. I know a lot and I mean a lot of Dallas fans who are not happy that Romo has not been replaced and I keep hearing rumblings about how Garrett should be fired also. and as for the Skins, I really hope that whenever MS and Co. get the formula right and we hopefully get to the SB and hopefully win one, the coaching staff will put their aspirations aside and allow the formula to work for a few yrs and give the fans a few yrs SB contending and hopefully trophies instead of taking coaching jobs elsewhere and ruining a good thing. To me it always seems like a team will go to the SB then the a DC or OC gets stolen away and the team is not as good anymore or it takes time for them to get back to the level the were playing at. |

He won't ever be good. I was really right on Cassel though. I have no idea what's different with Philip Rivers now. They are all just sour because we have RG3!! And for Smith And Chicago I just think hes a great coach that pretty much has been a winner with bad offense before the last couple years. |

Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
Crezdon Butler just got waived by Arizona.
Bears just cut former starting-LT Chris Williams. He used to be good and he's a 27 YO 1st-round pick. He's already visiting the Eagles today but I'd bring him in for depth. |

Check these Tackles pass protection stats. Trent representing well, Polumbus is bad, but not as bad as Doug Free or ex Redskins D'Anthony Batiste. Alot of people wanted Massie and Demetrius Bell here, but they are horrible |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style
Andy Reid fires a guy who has been with the organization since 94???? 6 games into the season this seems like hes panicking big time, I do like the promotion of Todd Bowles.

This is hilarious. I really haven't been following the Iggles' games but I was under the impression that their D has pretty much kept them in games. I am sure Vick's double digit turnovers haven't helped them. I am wondering who Reid is going to fire for that? |
