Redskins now have 5 Pro Bowlers- Kerrigan and Fletcher to take Aldon Smith and Patrick Willis' spots in the Pro Bowl

Just in case those of you that don't pay particular attention to the pro bowl, here it is. The Redskins now have 5 Pro Bowlers.

-RG3
-Trent Williams
-Lorenzo Alexander

- London Fletcher (replaces Patrick Willis)
- Ryan Kerrigan (replaces Aldon Smith)

A job well done fellas!!!!! HAIL!

Happy for the players. As a fan, BFD.

Notice how RG3 got in as a 'first ballot' pro bowler and had to leave because of injury; whereas Russell Wilson and Luck were 2nd and 3rd alternates and only got in because of injuries to the other QBs; translation RG3 is clearly better than them in the fan/player/coaches eyes.

Um....I've been a Kerrigan backer since day one but how did he get in the pro bowl?
Seems to me he got shut down a lot the last half of the season.

4/5 of those players deserve to be in the pro bowl. Anthony Spencer deserved the pro bowl bid more than Kerrigan. Still glad to see London get respect.

Things have changed the last few years. Fletch gets a ton of respect from fans and media. I think since the skins have gotten more attention(basically rg3) and since Fletchers starting streak has grown, people are paying him the long overdue attention he deserved.

Wow, what a turn-around. We haven't seen many PBers in recent years.

Sadly, the most-deserving Redskin not named RGIII isn't in. Alfred Morris was second in the NFL in rushing and didn't make it? Explain that.

The game is a meaningless joke anyway. Tom Brady is sitting out with another "undisclosed injury"...must be a bruised ego again.

We were expecting a monster year from Kerrigan and it didn't quite happen, but he did have an outstanding year.

54 tackes, 4 TFL, 8.5 sacks, 2 FF, 1 recovery, 1 INT, 8 pass deflections, another defensive TD.

Maybe Orakpo's absense allowed the opposition to concentrate more on him with double teams. When Rak is on the field, they both deserve a double, but that's impossible. They help each other just by being on the field together.

I did see Kerrigan being held by the neck all year, of course uncalled. Orakpo gets the same treatment.

Morris should've subbed Gore, not Martin.

Check the stats Doug Martin had almost 50 catches and over 1900 total yards.

Morris had a heck of a season but he wasn't a factor in the passing game like Martin.

Martin was a beast in his own way. Better receiver than Morris is and from what I have seen a little more explosive. Still, both are going to be good for the next couple of years.

I would not call that an outstanding year, especially for a first round pick and a player that many thought is and will be better than Orakpo, he did not live up to expectations. Redskins blitz a lot which would single him up and teams did not really double him from what I saw like I thought they would. There were times this season where he was just completely non existent, Did he play in the playoff game vs Seattle? cause I did not see him do anything. Still, Orakpo/Carriker coming back should help him, but I think the discussion of Orakpo vs Kerrigan and who was better was quietly answered this past season.

They just need to do any with this game in the worst way possible. It's now even MORE watered down cause no one in the SB can play in the game.Who's great idea was it to play the game the week before the SB?

Agreed. How Morris doesn't get in, but someone like Kerrigan (who lets be honest, was good this year but certainly not "pro bowl" level IMO) gets in, is kind of a joke.

The all pro team is really what matters, and Morris was the lone representative there.

Still, congrats to all five, will at least be nice to see a few skins if I flip on the game.

Reports this morning coming out that he was the victim; and not an aggressor in the situation according to witnesses. Was hit in the head with a champagne bottle and tasered (by aggressor, not police).

Now I'm sure he wasn't sitting alone at a barstool minding his own business, but glad he wasn't one of the three arrested for it and was not the aggressor.

I mean I know these guys are 24-25 year old kids, but at some point they need to realize that the "clubs" are not a good place to be, even if they're not looking for trouble.

No, I notice how Russell and Luck are there because they are smarter making decisions on the field as QB's whereas RG3 runs around recklessly and then selfishly plays on a severely compromised knee, saying dumb things like "bring it on!" to NFL Defenses that did just that... That is why Brady has played in so many SB's, He's smart, he protects himself for the most important thing, playing football at a high level with no serious injury.

Payton is great, I actually like him better than Brady as a QB but at the end of the day, both will do what is best for themselves.

Give me a QB that stays healthy and wins SB's for the Skins and I could care less if he shows me any appreciation as a fan...

So who's going to watch the Pro Bowl. It could be the last one. Supposedly manning is trying to get all the players to try, so maybe we'll see a different pro bowl with those 2 factors (then again Arian Foster already said he isn't trying)

If Brady wanted to protect himself, he wouldn't be playing meaningless minutes in games where his coach is running up the score on teams. Brady hasn't had any major injuries b/c the referees are always protecting him.
