Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
As usual we never win a blowout lol but CLUTCH drive by Griff and CO.
A win is a win Garcon needs to bitch about passing every week lol Young gets gameball |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Gutsy win, needed that big time
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
yes it was, it was ugly at times but its a W
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Just a beat a team coming off a bye that looks like a potential playoff team.
Great win, great stand by the defense, and great overtime drive to win the game. |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Phew! Thank God we don't have to listen to the crazies this week.
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Man....just wow
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
I had us down for 2 and 6 before our goal line stance. Wow, what a win. My heart is still pounding.
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Phew! It was looking grim for a bit there. Our kicker couldn't have been more blocked if he was me sending amorous tweets to Scarlett Johanssen. Glad we didn't inexplicably give up on the run like we always do. Hail!

I need to invest in Tums because at this rate I'm destined for an ulcer by the age of 35.

Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Not many wins are pretty in the NFL.. Was a good win, and could turn around the season. Still have work to do though.. Got a winnable game on Thursday
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
WE WIN! Only thing that sucks is dallas also won, Romo didn't Choke, which is the ultimate shocker, but he is leaving his quota of choking until we play him next, so whatever.
GO OAKLAND!!!!! |
Dallas will.lose to NO no worries
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
People saying SD let us off the hook with the playcalling on the GL. I say we let them off the hook with our playcalling when it was 3rd and 3 with 2:02 left

GO OAKLAND!!!!![/quote] It would have been icing on the cake if Dallas lost. |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Smackdown on Forbath, both blocks were on him for low kicks.
Otherwise, HECK YEAH! |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
I'm tempted to say we didn't deserve that win, but in the interest of good smilings with many happiness, I'll say it was a hard-fought W. Hail 'em!

That woodhead play was a fumble no question

Agreed. If they got that call right, we would have won in regulation. |
We would have won 31-14
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Instead of "Cobra Kai", he is playing more like "Garter Snake Kai".
You have ONE frikkin job, DO IT. |

They would have had to call it a fumble on the field. |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Total gut-check win. That's the type of thing you build off of. We beat the Vikings this week, I think we really could go on a roll. Truly, we outplayed the shit out of the Chargers all day and our own ineptitude made it seem closer than it should have been. GREAT win.

Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Insane day at the stadium. Met Kedric, Kai, Kyle, Kory, Chester, Rob Slowik, Larry Michael, Sonny (he doesn't sign autographs is what he said after many years of failed attempts to apply ink to my sweatshirt), Eric Wright, Brandon Flowers, LAVAR !!!, Bostic, Gary Clark, Mark Mosley, Ken Harvey, ALFRED, Pierre, Royster, Raleigh McKenzie, who else.. got up close to Doug Williams and jacoby.
Amazing day. Lost my voice. Too many Charger fans in attendance. minimal traffic home and didn't spend too much. Couldn't ask for more. Except the Vikings to beat the 'Boys. |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
My game ball goes to myself for avoiding the gameday thread, because I know there was some stupid going on in there.
|
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Garçon was amazing today. One of the best performances we've seen by a Skins WR in a really long time.

I haven't been the biggest fan of Garcon, but today he was worth every penny the Skins payed him. Reed and Garcon to me are the only reliable pass catchers. |

I was a complete idiot several times. pulled the classic "im done with this team" line. Im in mid season form. |

Gaffney would have done better. :D |

Wise move, it's always a shit show. |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
As a SD native, this was pretty much a playoff game for me.
I couldn't go another 4 years with a loss. I've never seen a special teams this bad. There are 5 teams that average more yard on kick off returns than our longest return all year. please put some speed back there. |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Great win today. I'd split the game ball between Morris and Garçon. As usual it wasn't pretty but that's just how this team is. The chances of winning go up when we run more than we pass. And Kyle.. quit giving away Alfred's td's!
And Wisenhunt and McCoy..WTF were you guys thinking? Terrible play calling! |
Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
I'll take it, it's a WIN.

A hell of a goal line stand indeed. |
Ngl I thought they would.just fall over and Sd would score a Td.

Hankerson has actually impressed me this year. He is not a number 1 but he is making strides. |

Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame
Great win. Biggest shock of the game for me is after Amerson's very athletic pick of Rivers he goes on to get smoked like a Virginia Slim by an old blue haired woman (Keenan Allen) to allow the Chargers to keep the game interesting at the end. I hope Wilson isn't out long. Amerson's play troubled me.
