Re: Breaking News: Sean Taylor Murder Trial Verdict In
Hope he serves a lot of jail time. A shame to see so many lives ruined over something so stupid.

Re: Breaking News: Sean Taylor Murder Trial Verdict In
You did the crime and now you must do the time. He should get life w/out parole.

After which he'll end up going back in for something else. Get out again. Go back in for something else. etc. I think the only realistic thing we can hope for inbetween future jail bouts is that he takes out a pedo or two. Of course with our luck he'll probably end up taking out another innocent person. I am surprised though how long it took to get to this point. I mean to think, since this terrible event took place there have been two presidential elections. I guess the right to a speedy trial isn't the only thing citizens have a right to. Apparently you also have the right to an extremely long and drawn out trial process, so long of course as you're willing to sit in jail without bail. |

Taylor, a Pro Bowl safety who had starred at the University of Miami, was shot in the upper thigh, damaging his femoral artery and causing massive blood loss. Witnesses say Taylor was shot when he confronted the group with a machete outside his bedroom. A medical examiner said he was essentially dead on arrival at a hospital on Nov. 26, 2007, although doctors did manage to restart his heart for a while.
such a shame............. |
I remember hearing the news break and at first they said he would probably live. Unfortunately that was not accurate such a shame

I think it was jdlea who first told us all that he had been shot. I quickly called the NFL guys and we started making phone calls to find out more. Right away we heard that morning that he had no pulse when he arrived and was not expected to live, but they were holding back that info because family wasn't aware of what was going on. I told Matty and the other mods and it was weird bc on the main forums we were all talking about hope he makes it, but separately we were PMing each other about how we couldn't believe he was dead |
Re: Breaking News: Sean Taylor Murder Trial Verdict In

Well nice to see that he will serve his time. Too bad he didn't man up and follow through with what he stated to begin with, instead of b[I]tching out and saying that he didn't fire the weapon and he stayed outside the house, like he said in his confession. Man up and take the punishment.
