I think its because the team is having the same problems over and over again ie special teams, lack of consistency in offense, dumb redzone coaching and execution, Oline issues, poor pass rush, poor Safety play and we see no improvement. Dont look to last year and say it can happen again.

Heavy expectations didnt help.

At this point, fire Shanny, dont fire Shanny; I dont care.

Didn't we start last year's run against Nick Foles and Philly? The way Griffin, Morris, Garçon, and Reed are playing, the offense should put up at least 30 points. Whether our Defense and Special Teams hold up their end will determine the outcome.

I agree. There was a time when making the playoffs was the norm around here. I have 0 confidence in this team to even win a single game, none the less 7 in a row. Inconsistent offense, bad defense and terrible special teams = another loss Sunday.

Coaches don't kick the ball low, miss assignments and fail to get off blocks. I'm not saying Burns is Wayne Sevier, but at what point do we start to blame the players?

Yeah but Foles is playing at a totally different level than last year. The guy hasn't even been picked off yet.

I've been watching Redskins football for 40+ years, and these are THE WORST special teams that the Redskins have fielded during that span, by a wide margin.

Foles is Kolb 2.0. He'll have a couple of decent games, then the Eagles can get 2 first round picks until he goes on to bomb and be out of the league in 2 years.

The key to every win for the rest of the season is our Defense's ability to get turnovers. They can't stop anyone so unless they get a turnover, the other team will score on every possession. NOW, can Griffin and company keep up and score 30 per game? That's the next issue. I remember a time not so long ago when 21 points scored by our offense would win just about every game because the defense was so good and the offense was inept. Now its the reverse.

If you are betting, take the over from here on out.

Could not disagree more. Kolb is a soft China Doll that isn't willing to stand in the pocket cause he's scared of getting hit. Haven't seen any of that with Foles. He's standing in there and throwing guys open. Plus he throws a GREAT deep ball.

I don't know how you call a guy that has had several concussions soft. Kolb still sucks as a QB, but I wouldn't call him soft. Foles is just a better QB.

Kolb was basically the same guy on the Eagles as Foles is. Kolb now? Agreed, but that's what Foles will be as soon as the Eagles get their first rounders for him.

Looking at the guy play, he's always running around when he doesn't need to. If he would just stand still and move around in the pocket he might not get hurt as much. To me he's got the deer in the headlights kind of look...like he's scared of getting rushed. Even one of the guys on Oakland mentioned it. Maybe soft isn't the right word...maybe jittery is better.

I don't even want to predict. I think last year I decided to go on strike and not predict anymore outcomes of Redskins games. The result? A 7 game win streak. Nope - I'm not even going to predict that, but hey...if it works???

Foles has thrown 16 in half a season. They are simply not the same guy.

I think the main difference between the two, is Foles is good with the potential to be great, Kolb is matt flynn with potential to be worse
