Baltimore.
I am curious if you guys hate Baltimore like I do. My hate list goes
(from most hated to least) Cowboys Eagles Giants Patriots Baltimore As you can see, they made my top 5. I don't know what it is, their annoying fans that think their defense is so great like it was in that Super Bowl year, the fact that they always tell me how much better Boller is than Ramsey, or just the fact I find them boring and can't stand them. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but does anyone else hate the Ravens and wished we played them more often than just preseason? |
Re: Baltimore.
Raiders?

Re: Baltimore.
EAGLES
EAGLES EAGLES Cowboys Giants Colts If i had to pick an AFC team or any other team for that matter to be my favorite it would be the Ravens. I love Defense. |
Re: Baltimore.
how can you not hate the raiders?
|
Re: Baltimore.
I don't so much hate the Ravens as not understand their older fans. If Rehoboth got a franchise tomorrow, I might wish them well, but I'm a Redskins fan. How do grown men paint themselves purple before a game and scream for ateam that didn't exist 10 years ago?

Re: Baltimore.
This is hands down the best thread I have come across in the two years frequenting The Warpath. I currently live in downtown Baltimore, was raised here for 24 years and must say their fans are some of the most un educated, obnoxious, over-the-top, self serving jack-asses in the country. A close second to the Eagles. Here's the weird thing: They have an excellent, knowledgeable front office (minus Billick). But their fans just don't get it. I get their talk radio here over the DC one and it is a non-stop comedy show. One week Boller is the second coming of Marino. The next he's a 2nd rate Chris Redman. Problem is lately I haven't been able to argue the supremacy (other than monetary) of the Skins over the Ravens.

Re: Baltimore.
I hate the Raiders because of their fans. They are loud and obnoxious even when their team sucks. Also, they hardly sell out their tickets but the media glorifies their fan base.
My list: Cowboys (too many painful losses). Eagles (I simply don't like seeing them win). Ravens (they are too close to home). Raiders (comes down to their fans). Bills (once again because of their stupid fans). |
Re: Baltimore.
Cowboys
Giants Bills Eagles Niners I have to say I hate the Bills more than the Eagles because being from Upstate NY and having to deal with all of these A*****E Bills fans forces you to hate the team. |
Re: Baltimore.
1. Cowboys - Too many heartbreaking losses
2. Raiders - Super Bowl loss equal 3. Giants, Eagles - Division rivals 5. Niners - I have to work with one of their 'knowledgeable' fans, he drives me nuts. |
Re: Baltimore.
Eagles
Eagles Eagles Eagles Eagles Cowboys Raiders |
Re: Baltimore.
1. Every other team in the NFL, and college.
2. There is no 2. |
Re: Baltimore.
1. Cowboys
2. Eagles 3. Giants 4. Peyton Manning (that whiney, entitled, pretty boy bastard who can do NO WRONG in the eyes of the announcers)...uh I mean Colts. I really hate everyone on that team except Dungy who I love. 5. The Rams. They are just annoying, all flash no substance, and I always seem to be going against Rams in fantasy so its sort of a knee jerk reaction. I was told by a guy from Indianapolis that I was the only person he had ever come across that expressed a visceral hatred for Peyton Manning. Am I the one here? |
Re: Baltimore.
1. Dallas
2. Eagles 3. Giants 4. Baltimore 5. Any team in California Division Rivals take precedence over EVERYBODY...END OF STORY. Ca. fans are just a joke |
Re: Baltimore.
How could anybody like a team who's owner moved them from one of the best football towns in the USA (Clevland) and move them to Baltimore, then wins the Superbowl and fires the winning QB... idiots.

Re: Baltimore.
Who do you hate more? Baltimore or the Ravens, BigSKINBauer?
|
Re: Baltimore.
For me...
Eagles Cowboys Giants Theres no other team I really hate; just basically whoever we are playing. |
Re: Baltimore.
Eagles
Eagles Eagles Cowboys Cowboys And while I don't give a rat's ass about the Ravens - I agree w/ the statement that they have obnoxious fans - 2nd only to Philly in that department. |
Re: Baltimore.
1. Eagles - I like Reid and McNabb, but I hate the franchise
2. Cowboys - nuff said 3. Giants - division rival 4. Ravens - They should be playing in a correctional league and Billick's an arrogant a--hole. |
Re: Baltimore.
I was told by a guy from Indianapolis that I was the only person he had ever come across that expressed a visceral hatred for Peyton Manning. Am I the one here?
I have no beef with Manning. True, the announcers worship him, but in all honesty, he deserves much of the praise. Moreover, the announcers do cite his inability to get past NE and go to the Super Bowl. |
Re: Baltimore.
1. MOST HATED-Cryboys Cryboys Cryboys :dallas:
2. Eagles-so many obnoxious players....... 3. Forty Whiners......thought they were God's gift to football....media darlings 4. Tampa Bay something about that team I don't like.... 5. Baltimore Ray Lewis and crew :vomit-smi 6. Jets-because they have the HATED Coles!!!! 7. Arizona-I hate seeing teams having to play in 120 degree heat, bad owner..... |
Re: Baltimore.
I like Peyton, he's humble, from what I hear he's a hard worker, and has a sense of humor......he's not full of himself like a lot of other QBs.......
Who do you hate more? Baltimore or the Ravens, BigSKINBauer?
ha ha my bad! i was moving it up and forgot to delete the other one... anywayz i hate the ravens more the vikings but it is close that is what caused the confusion. |
Re: Baltimore.
I'm going to agree with whoever dislikes the Ravens' fans because it is truly hard to be justifiably obnoxious when your team has been there such a short time. I mean, I'm going to pull for the Nationals, but I can't be obnoxious about them.

Re: Baltimore.
Oh no, I've encountered blasphemy on the Warpath! Guys, I understand the intense hatred for the Eagles, I live here in the Philly area and these fans are easily the most misinformed of all football fans. Their intense passion for their team only magnifies the fact that they're idiots.
BUT, never ever ever is it acceptable for any Redskins fan to hate anyone more than the Dallas Cowboys. Bear with me for a second: November 23rd, 1978. Thanksgiving Day. The Cowboys bombed the Redskins 37-10, embarrassing them in front of a national TV audience. A banner in Texas Stadium read "Washington Slept Here." The Cowboys players called the Redskins "Turkeys", mocking them in Thanksgiving Day style. From November 27th, 1980 to December 5th, 1982 the Redskins lost 4 straight games to the Cowboys. The game on December 5th was especially painful as Dallas thwarted the Redskins' bid at an undefeated season, dealing the Redskins their first loss of the season. Taunts from Dallas rained down yet again. The Redskins went on to earn homefield advantage in the NFC playoffs. In their divisional playoff game, with the game in hand, the Redskins fans at RFK began to chant in unison "WE WANT DALLAS!", their voices literally shook the RFK stands. The following week, the Redskins exacted sweet revenge, crushing them 31-17 behind 140 tough yards from John Riggins. Make no mistake, the team's goal was to rip the Cowboys' heart out and pound them with Riggins until their spirits broke in two. And I can't convince you how important this game was, let Joe Gibbs convince you with his words after the victory, "This was the way it was suppose to be, I haven't even thought about the Super Bowl. This is our Super Bowl, this was everything rolled into one. The Redskins versus Dallas, the team we wanted to beat the most. How can you top that?" Indeed. How can you? It's important to remember our history, fellas. I'm only 25, I was 4 during that game, so I can't even remember this stuff. The passion for this rivalry has to live on in all of us. We can develop new rivalries for sure, but we must remember that the Cowboys are the team we all need to love to hate. They'll forever remain the team I hate the most. For those younger fans out there learn your history. And if anyone finds themselves feeling more intense hatred for the Eagles, go find something to detest about these Cowboys of today. Go back and view tape of Arrington ending Aikman's career with a concussion, because deep down you know you take satisfaction in that. Go back and watch Vinny T throwing that bomb with 30 seconds last year to beat us yet again. Go back and watch our beloved Coach Gibbs struggle to even look at Parcells in the eyes after those losses this past season, because of how much they personally hurt him. If those losses are hurting Coach Gibbs that much, they need to hurt us just the same; else we may lose touch with what it truly means to be a Redskin fan. :httr: |
Re: Baltimore.
Schneed,
Good post. I can't stand the Cowboys. But, I give Philly the edge simply because they've been at the top of the NFC East for quite some time now. It's about time someone knocked them from their perch. |
Re: Baltimore.
Cowboys
Cowboys Cowboys Giants Cowboys That's my top 5 |
Re: Baltimore.
Schneed-
A historical hatred of the Cowboys doesn't and can't proclude an equal or more fiery hatred of the Eagles. My heart will always have room for more hatred and intolerance. [/sarcasm] Seriously, though, between quarterback bounties, geographic proximity, the most obnoxious fans in the league (and their delight in the recognition of such), and near complete dominance since Kotite left, the Eagles are the biggest dog on the block. Maintaining a "Cowboys-first" mentality is like two corner stores trying to undercut each other's business - with a WalMart down the street. If (when) we sweep the Cowboys next year, I'll be beyond thrilled, but it will be universally thought of as the Cowboys losing steam. If (when) we sweep the Eagles, well, there's anew sherriff in town. |

Re: Baltimore.
OK, I can accept a temporary hatred for the Eagles that is more intense than that of the Cowboys, so long as the reason is that you want desperately to see the Redskins finally take down the Eagles. But I have a feeling, that at the end of the day, once the Eagles have fallen from their perch, the intense Eagle hatred will fade and we'll be left with the deeply rooted hatred that we all have for the Cowboys.
Just a hypothetical: let's say the Redskins are 14-1 and have the division locked up. The Cowboys and Eagles are playing the last game of the season, and both teams are 9-6. Let's say the winner goes to the playoffs, and the loser goes home. Who are you rooting for? |

Not only that, the thing that upsets me the most even if we sweep AND stomp the Cowboys next year, Cowboys fans will be like, "So? How many years in a row have we dominated you?" That will eat into the very core of my soul. |

The dislike of the Eagles is a little more than temporary. I loathe Eagles fans, and really don't mind the Cowboys fans. Conversely, I have some respect for the Eagles organization, but little for Dallas. So when we beat the Cowboys, I am self-satisfied. When we beat the Eagles, I'm tempted to get up in some Philly fan's grill and let them know. Two different dislikes, one complete person. :) |
Re: Baltimore.
BrudLee, what a team player you are... lol
But yeah, mostly injuries... |
Re: Baltimore.
Heres my list:
1. Cowboys 2. Eagles 3. Giants 4. Ravens 5. Rams I don't know why but eversince the Rams beat the Titans (I was rooting for the Titans) in the SB, I began to hate them. |
Re: Baltimore.
1.)Cowpies
2.)Iggles 3.)Little Giants 4.)Baltimore 5.)Tampa Bay: they've had some of the most outspokenly arrogant, over-rated players in the last decade and I still haven't really gotten over them beating us in the playoffs when turk bumbled the field goal snap. a close 6 would be either the rams or the broncos. I've hated the broncos since elway was there, but even more so this past year when chump went there. |
Re: Baltimore.
1. Eagles
2. Cowboys 3. Packers (Always get the benefit from the league) 4. NYG 5. Raiders |
Re: Baltimore.
1. Dallas Cowboys
2. Philadelphia Eagles 3. NY Giants 4. Oakland Raiders That Super Bowl loss in '83 against the Raiders still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth! |
Re: Baltimore.
It has been documented on the Warpath numerous times on how I despise the Ravens and their obnoxious fans....
1. Cowboys - The #1 arch-rival has to top the list. 2. Eagles - since they are the tops of the division for now, they are more of co-#1 most hated, especially with their obnoxious fans. 3. Giants 4. Ravens 5. Dolphins/Raiders - SB's VII & XVIII As for the Cowboys/Eagles game question: Tie....and hopefully someone else takes the spot. |
Re: Baltimore.
i avoided this thread at first...baltimore...bleh...
however, i'm glad i dropped in... I don't hate the Raiders, just Al Davis. They hardcore fans are great...at least they're not like Dodger fans...in around the top of the 3rd, out by the bottom of the 7th... i will not hate any teams more than our division rivals (Cowboys, Eagles, Giants) and the Ravens (a geographical rival). A question to those guys who hate the Eagles most...would you hate them just as much if they haven't smelled the success they have the past few years? If they were below .500 every year for the past several, would you hate them more than the Cowboys? All Redskins fans for as long as I can remember...hate the Cowboys first and foremost. I have yet to see a t-shirt say, "I like the Redskins, and whomever plays the Eagles"... i live in MD, but consider myself a DC Homer...when the Ravens came to town, I said, cool...whatever, i'm a Skins fan. I've watched people move to the dark side, and that's a big reason why i can't stand the Ravens... |
