That's fair but I would have thought we'd be swimming in LB's since we're in a 3-4.

Thought I have no idea who we have on the roster outside of the starters. I haven't paid a lick of attention this preseason.

The WR position is so crowded though. With DJax, Garcon, Roberts and Robinson, it doesn't leave much room for anyone else really.

After cuts, there's still Doss, Grant, Moss, Ross and Williams at the WR to decide on. Moss looks good for being an old man... but Grant and Ross have looked good as well.

I swear, Williams has the potential to be another Welker type in the slot. It probably won't be with us, but I bet he'll blow up with another team...

p.s. I hope they'll end up cutting Hankerson soon. Too much talent on the team right now to keep screwing around with a dude that can't catch consistently, can't get YAC and can't stay healthy.

Can't cut a injured player. He's currently on the PUP right now if I'm correct.

There is no chance Grant will be cut, Moss probably makes it.

no way nick makes it on the actual roster. we'll have a couple good depth RBs missing the 53 too between royster redd and seastrunk (i'd mention thompson too, if i'd ever see him play).

i wish our depth decisions at OL were as difficult :/.

it is possible they pick up an O lineman on waivers, they have the 2nd choice of players cut. who is the second string center ?

I think he was just too light in the can for Jay's liking. All the reports I read about him were that he had decent technique but just couldn't stand up to the bigger DT's and was not able to get much push.

He was 293 when drafted and 305 now. Odd to think of that as not heavy enough.

I would prefer to see him compete after a full recovery from his ACL. We all know how well Griffin's rush to return early worked out.

I would hate to see Richard Crawford cut because It's evident that he hasn't recovered fully from his injury. Some injuries take two years before the injured player can get back to his NFL normal.

The NFL ought to have a special roster category that would allow teams to keep players whose injuries require more rehabilitation time.

Is Richard Crawford eligible for the practice squad under the new rules? If so, I think he'll probably be kept that way.

Jackson did a nice job filling in for Orakpo in 2012. Things change fast. I vaguely recall folks suggesting OL Bruce Campbell at one point who was cut by the Jets. The DE that Philly cut is an intriguing prospect. Army ranger or something like that - huge guy. But our D line looks pretty set.

Campbell's the guy that failed his physical after signing here in free agency. LOL.
