Mistake imo, but who cares at this point. RG3 should be in there
I don't understand the love for RG3. Maybe 2012 was the worse thing to happen to this franchise, but Allen should be fired for making a trade for RG3 and drafting him. His flaws coming out of college that are in EVERY scouting report are showing in the NFL now that the Read Option is caught up to an average level of competition. He can't feel the rush, he can't read a defense, and he has 0 confidence right now in throwing to WR's. He basically makes the offense more stale than McCoy which is hard to do atm. |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
i cant wait to see all the faces of the sad and miserable giants fans as they slowly file out of that brand new rat trap following an utterly embarrassing whooping.
you have to really suck to get beat by this year's skins team. how bad do you have to be to get trounced by the skins? trick question because no body knows because that level of suck has never been achieved before. the giants on sunday are going to re-define suck to a new low. get your popcorn ready yall - this sunday we get right on these fucking assholes with their asshole half-dead mr. burns owner. ive been to NYC. its a shit hole. |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
We feed Alfmo the ball 25-30 times, we probably win
|
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
Gruden is playing high stakes poker starting McCoy. If the offense still looks like trash, unprepared, penalties galore, missed assignments etc. with McCoy at the helm then Gruden doesn't have any more excuses for the offense regressing so badly under him.
Hate the Giants. Hoping for a whooping. |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
Actually wanted Cousins to get a chance to avenge his worst game since Reed should play in this one.

Hate the Giants. Hoping for a whooping.
Gruden already went all-in against the Colts and lost his shirt. There isn't anybody left who doesn't know that this coaching staff has failed to get the players ready to play, game after game. What can Gruden lose now, the barrel he's wearing? The Giants' stadium is a very windy place this time of year and McCoy doesn't have the arm to throw downfield against a strong wind, so look for more of the same dink and dunk we've all come to love and admire. That should be no surprise because dink and dunk is practically the entire Jay Gruden playbook. The Giants suck but even they can't play poorly enough to lose to the Skins. The Giants will dominate in all three phases of the game and pound the Skins. Eli will throw 2-3 passes that bounce off the chests of Redskins defenders with no harm done. Some Giants TE most of us have never heard of will have a career receiving day. Some Giants pass rusher will get three sacks to inflate his season sack total and Giants fans will think the guy is actually a good player. The Redskins offense will be mired in poor field position all game due to poor ST play and illegal procedure penalties. They will convert no third downs. McCoy will be hit hard all day and re-injured. RGIII will come in and "lead" the Skins to a late TD by throwing underneath against a prevent defense. By the end of the game most Redskins fans won't give a damn if the entire FO and coaching staff is fired and all of the players are cut. Giants 31 Redskins 10 |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
"Everybody doesn’t have to do the same thing," Clark said. "Everybody doesn’t have to be first in, first out. I’ve played with a ton of extremely good football players who were the last to work in the morning, and they were first to leave, and they produced.
.. if you guys were producing, it wouldnt be an issue. clark is starting to piss me off a little bit. deflecting criticism and blame. we signed his tired slow ass to be a leader in the secondary and get guys in the right spots ... and he isnt doing that. this whole team has checked out. amateur hour for the next 3 weeks. hatcher better show the fuck up on sunday. the last time i remember him impacting a game was week 1. |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
There is a ton of bad QB play in the NFL.

damn son. it is just so appropriate this year. What if Giants drop a 40 burger on us? No? |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
We lose since we're not playing at home. Not that it matters anyway, since I think most of the Redskins fans that come to games at this point just come to see if we really are truly THAT awful.
Redskins 14 Giants 34 |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
Eli seems to have his best games against us, it'd be a nice irony if we break that streak in the midst of this dumpster fire season.
Giants dline is trash, not that it will help our pass protection, but if Gruden has any sense left whatsoever he would pound the rock all game long. |

Lol... My quiet problem with Jay this year has been his unwillingness to run Alfmo...not all the time, but Alfmo has been lost sometimes in the game plan. I look at this game and I say we have an opportunity on the ground unlike last week. Far too much talk about the qb play this year, when we should have been looking at better ways to get Alfmo involved. My feeling is we should really actually win this game, but if Jay is gonna sit there and call 5 yard outs with colt, we ain't winning. I really want to see more passion from the team and I want to see much better execution in the 1st quarter, no more of this sluggish shit in the first half |

Gruden has 3 games to prove he gets another shot..if the Skins get blowed out in these games its over for Gruden and maybe a lot more changes are coming..my gut says redskins get beat over the next 3 games 100 plus points to under 50 for the skins…it starts this week GIANTS 38 WASH 14…PHILLY 45 WASH 17…DALLAS 31 WASH 14..THEN GRUDEN OUT..ALLEN OUT..RGIII TRADED..MORE TO COME

What about a compromise on the dumpster fire avatar? If we get blown out by the G-Men then the avatar would be available for the rest of this season only. Otherwise, no avatar. |

Our Tight Ends are going to actually have to start touching the guys they are supposed to block for this to work. I really don't understand why Reed and Paul aren't just split out as receivers or try to cut block the defender. They whiff on so many blocks. Paulson is good in the run but we give up a lot with him in the game. Defenses often ignore him. |

Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
We've all been mired in the bog and there are lots of downward sentiments floating around.
So, to brighten the board, here are a few thoughts of inspiration: "Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we may catch excellence"- Vince Lombardi "We know what we are, but know not what we may be"- William Shakespeare "Change your thoughts and you change your world" -Norman Vincent Peale "Nothing in the world is impossible, the word itself says I'm possible" -Audrey Hepburn With that said, my prediction is that the Redskins hit their stride this week. We go on the road, into hostile territory & come away with a victory. 'Skins:31, Giants: 17 NOTHING is impossible ! Hail. |

We were 3-13 last year. I think "stasis" is more appropriate.
Somebody posted the link here somewhere. Compared to last year runnig game went from like 7th to 22nd this year and third down way worse. Offense got worse for sure. Defense had some good games this year but I wouldn't call it better than last year. Special teams got a little better too. None of it's good enough though. Crap all around. |

I mean if he wanted to just run the ball he could let RG3 hand the ball off. |

Does it really matter about his injury? its not like he was going to beat out Compton or Trent at the RT or LT spot. We need a RT, RG, LG and Poss Center next season. |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
I want to see if this team has quit on Jay. If they have then why do we even bother bringing him back next season? I hate to see a 1 and done but if the players don't believe in him he has no chance of winning here. So watch closely to see who is giving all out effort. Now if we haven't quit but get our ass kicked again then we just don't have the talent and coaching is a major problem. Even if Jay stays Hasslet has to go.
