Poor beagles. 0 rings and counting.

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.

RGIII looked his best in a long, long time. Trent Williams epitomized what a professional should be (a tough mofo) Darrell Young, D.Jackson, Breeland, Morris all played well.

Haslett could not adjust to Ertz (never did), can't wait till they can his ass.

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.

Games like this make me realize just how hard it is to be a fan.

They have a game like this where they struggle, but gut it out, and win against a surperior team...and that gives you hope. Then they'll go on a 6 or 8 game losing streak - often getting blown out while looking completley inept, and you kind of just go "WTF"....

I hope for consistency sake that they can put some kind of run together to end the year. 5-11, finish strong....and take that into next season....

No reason we can't go out there next week and beat the boys at home. I'm taking a lot of pride in this win, fuck chip Kelly and those Eagles

How depressed are the #Eagles? Locker room is silent. Jeremy Maclin still in full pads sitting at locker, staring at the ground.

:D

To me, this was the best game of the season... The team showed some toughness, fight and most importantly a well executed game plan... Kudos for a well earned victory Gents. I hope they enjoy this and then come out strong against Dallas....

As a beagle owner, I request that their name not be tarnished by being associated with that filthy team from Philly.

Great game- RG3 is getting there. Kudos to Snyder for telling Jay to shut up and coach the QB!!! LOL, I kid... Beat Dallas and go out feeling good about ourselves.

Imagine if they develop a safety and some get some Dlinemen that can get pressure consistently...

Cooley has said repeatedly that when he watches film Breeland looks like a number one corner in the NFL. He is proving it over and over again.

especially FS . . . i thought that Thomas looked ok at SS when playing up near the line . . . and he has hardly any game experience . . . i think he might be something to give some more chances to.

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.

Hell YES for a game giving me some hope. I wanted RG3 to prove he's the guy or the problem. He showed he was more the guy this week. Haslett is still a problem on defense, but overall, that's a pretty good offensive team. I was feeling like the typical cynical Skins fan, but goddamn the luck/karma we had at the end of that game was amazing.

Daseal 12-20-2014 10:46 PM

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.

Glad we got the win. Not quite as optimistic as some others here. We still tried to piss away the game at the end by not even being able to squid kick the ball. We did enough to win in a competitive game and I think the team needed a win before the offseason to build some confidence. I just hope we ruined Christmas for a lot of people in Philly.

That's okay. Jeffcoat and Random other guy (Williams) stepped in and looked pretty decent. Not worried.

Finally, Finally ! Great to get a win.

I think DJAx & Breeland should share a game ball.
Robert played well too.

He actually had time to get thru some progressions....cudos to the o-line for improved play.

Eagles basically gave the game to the Redskins. Nice win though. Good to put a dent in their playoff hopes. But it's still hard too get excited about playing the spoiler role. It'd be better if we were fighting for a playoff spot instead.

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.

Watched the game and part of me still can't believe we won. Lost pretty much every statistical metric but the score. So nice to not be on the losing end of that like we have so many times.

Lots to improve on, but a gritty win. Happy for lots of guys:

RGIII first win in ages and played well enough to win

Alfred going over 1000

DJax with an awesome fu to his old team

Breeland - nice pick

Clark and Thomas - not good in coverage, but some great hits today. Earned some respect.

Kerrigan - defensive stud. Period.

Forbath - showed how important a consistent kicker is

Tress Way - you make me thrilled about a position that gets no PR. 3 punts, all inside the 20. You're the man.

Trent - you play with heart. Kory - same for you today. Guys played hard and hurt in a game that counts for nothing - and that means everything.

We learned a lot about some of these guys today.

Bring on Dallas.
