Redskins vs Titians win/loss record?

I have a guy that is kicking me around saying the skins always get killed by the Titians and I did my best to search and get our win/loss record with the Tenn. Titans.

Does anyone know this information?

Thanks guys
peace

Did the Redskins play the Titans last when Ramsey first got thrown into the fire? The Redskins won that game.

i don't recall the skins and titans playing very often. the only one i remember is when ramsey came in and destroyed them. that was ramsey's rookie season.

Against Tennessee / Houston they are 3 Wins, 5 Losses (going back to 1971)

Very neat tool. Thank god for gambling websites!

Date Home Pts Away Pts SU
Result H Line ATS
Result O/U O/U
Result G/T
10/6/2002 TEN 14 WAS 31 W -4 W 44 O G
10/30/2000 WAS 21 TEN 27 L -3.5 L 38.5 O G
10/19/1997 TEN 28 WAS 14 L -1 L 38 O G
11/3/1991 WAS 16 TEN 13 W -6 L 44.5 U G
10/30/1988 TEN 41 WAS 17 L 1 L 46 O T
9/15/1985 WAS 16 TEN 13 W -10 L 46.5 U G

(we have a 3-3 record with TN, not exactly getting beaten up! in 1988 they downed us 41-17, but that's the worst one!)

i didn't see that 1985 game on there , are you sure they were the titans in 85. if not than it is 2 wins and 3 losses for the skins against the titans.

Re: Redskins vs Titians win/loss record?

ok , i did some investigative work. heres what i got.
houston oilers 1960-1996
tennessee oilers 1997, played home games at liberty memorial stadium
tennessee oilers 1998, played home games at vanderbilt stadium
tennessee titans 1999-current, home games at the "coliseum"
since they've been known as the titans , they have played the skins only twice, each team winning one game.

Re: Redskins vs Titians win/loss record?

The titans are another team with a great coach, an abundance of talent, and how many post season appearances... 1, 2? Every old free agent that comes from their team is the free agent of the year. I've always hated them even though I like Jeff Fisher. But every time I get too down about our situation, I look at them and feel a little better.
