Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
His agent is trying to feign interest to drive up the price? I'm kidding.
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
I love how agents are possibly the greediest lowliest creatures on the face of the Earth.
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
I've never met one, but I have spent considerable time around attorneys.
Anyone else to add? School Crossing Guards? Psychiatric nurses? |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Clowns.

Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Clowns.
I hate clowns. |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
I particularly dislike the children's entertainer type clowns that make balloon animals. Conceited gits.
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Hahahaha.. I like Stephen King-like clowns.
I want to see IT take on the world's balloon makers! |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
some people fear the boogeyman, werewolves, vampires, etc....as a child I had a tremendous fear of Ronald McDonald
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
He scares me in the "Michael Jackson" kind of way.
Remember all the other McDonald's characters? Grimace, the Hamburglar...? Grimace looked like a large purple sack of feces. |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner

And with good reason if you've seen '30 Days'. Who knew that just cos it tastes good doesn't mean it'll do you good? Mimes......... Smug bastards. |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
As a child I was afraid to sleep on my back because I remember hearing about Hendrix drowning in his own vomit!
I know, it's weird, just a fear I've always had! |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Daseal, you're strange dude. LOL :)
I stay away from a lot of water because I have a recurring dream that if I AM going to die a premature death, it will be in the water. |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
And when was the last time you bathed?
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
It's been a while... sadly.:(
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Just to clarify, it's the ocean... not water in general. ;)
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
I thought that maybe you were the inspiration for The Dirt Bags.
Have you thought about taking a cruise? I had a fear of heights so I took a parachute course and it worked. |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Yeah, I'm actually taking one this October for my birthday and to get engaged.
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
A cruise or a parachute jump?
Hawaii down to Fanning is a nice trip. Oh, and congratulations. |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Thanks man! It's a 10-day Carribean cruise. Just gotta' buy the ring first.
Argh. There's 5 grand I'll never see again (except hopefully in booty). |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Meh. Forget that. She's worth it. :)

congrats MC... my first fear was watching the chick in Carrie when i was a youngster... but over the years, i somehow started dating mostly crazy chicks. kind of a dysfunctional therapy huh? |

Argh. There's 5 grand I'll never see again (except hopefully in booty).
Dude, CZ. It's the only way to go for the first marriage. The next two or three you can splurge and IF this one works out you can always buy her a real diamond in 25 years time. :biggthump Yeah, I'm divorced....but not bitter. |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Hahaha... thanks for the kind words AND advice (RedskinsRat) fellas. I've been working my ass off at my moonlighting computer repair job to have $5,000 by the time our cruise hits.
Anybody have any suggestions on buying diamonds (Matty, I would think you might be the best source)? I'm liking www.bluenile.com |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
And about dating crazy chicks, I'm lucky because she's the only person I've ever loved. We've been together since I was 15. She's had her "Carrie" moments (also her sister's name), and we've had some EXTREMELY rough times. So without getting into details, if we can make it through these things, we can make it through anything.
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Congrats Malcolm! I used to date nothing but crazy, off-the-wall girls...and now I'm with someone who's totally cool, calm and collected...and it drives me crazy!
|
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
You have my best wishes.
www.bluenile.com is good but you may find a better deal haggling with these people: http://www.ashford.com/home/index.asp "My name is RedskinRat and I'm a shopaholic". Oh, and anything over 1.5 carats can look ostentatious, anything under .75 can look cheap (depending on the cut and clarity etc). If she has her own loupe you're in trouble. |

I'm liking www.bluenile.com
I was in NYC with my then girlfriend at the time, we happened to be passing through the diamond district. She said I like that one. Luckily enough for me I went back four months later and found the exact ring that she picked out. The diamond district is a great place to find that perfect ring. But then again...its a little far for you to get there, sorry. Do you think buying a diamond online is a good idea? That's a little to pricey for me to risk. |
Re: ESPN's Most Web Searches: Rod Gardner
Yeah, bluenile.com is the biggest diamond store online.
Again, thanks to everyone for their advice and wishes. She and I had a stupid ass fight tonight so I'm pissed at her, but I'm still checking out those sites. Hahahaha... I told her I'd rather get her a smaller, perfect diamond than a big one full of flaws. |
