Re: Week 17

If they can afford the $20M or so fine, or just re-sign him if you're convinced he's your guy. |
Re: Week 17
My issue is his TOs. He's led the league since he came in. This yr he was really bad so that's a tough call

it's not though. who else are they going to get? sam bradford? i mean a huge long term deal is a hard call, but for next year, you keep him for sure. |

Yeah, he sucks they should cut him ASAP. |
Re: Week 17
It's not a question of "He sucks" it's more of "How much do you pay him?"

I've been a fan of his so I'm sticking to my guns and saying he will be great but he's got to show it next year |
Re: Week 17
I've been a fan of his so I'm sticking to my guns and saying he will be great but he's got to show it next year
I really think Luck was playing hurt this season, more than the Colts let on.
Luck showed improvement every year until this season. Last season he was very good. Basically unless he kicks it up a notch, Luck is starting to look like Eli Manning without so much durability. Not elite, and a turnover machine, but a good QB. Re: Week 17
What Andrew Luck needs is an OL. Remember what people were saying about Cousins last year? What a difference a solid OL makes. Luck with an OL like ours or Dallas would be deadly and yes he's had a shoulder injury pretty much all year.

The Colts' front office has had the belief that they were one or two players away from being a perennial contender (see T. Richardson acquisition); while in reality they've have had many needs and Luck was basically carrying the team on his shoulders. |
Re: Week 17
Speaking of Colts. Looks like Pagano is about to get the axe soon.
https://twitter.com/TonyD1070/status/682657369482895360 @TonyD1070 Per @MikeWellsNFL the Colts plan to fire Chuck Pagano In other AFC news, Bills going to cut Mario Williams? Re: Week 17
their OL is bad. they really need to fix that. regardless though, you can't get rid of luck. once you find a qb you've got to hold on until he shows for sure that he has it or he doesn't.
So what's indy do with luck? I'd franchise him and see what he's got next year
Probably a huge reason for Luck's down year. Luck's early-season injuries worse than thought Dude shouldn't have been playing to begin with. That said, it seems their GM is pretty bad to say the least. He keeps building a "soft" team much like Polian did when he was there. Values the skill positions more than he does the OL/DL. This is one thing I love about Scotty McC. He's building a big nasty strong team to punish people on gamedays. |
Re: Week 17
Colts and packers have some of the worst lines in football.

As much as I hate the Giants organization and particularly Mara, I have nothing but respect for Coughlin. Great coach and a winner. |

Next year, the Skins might be playing vs 3 rookie head coaches in the NFC East. |

Re: Week 17

Re: Week 17
Cardinals playing really sloppy right now. Seattle playing like they want to go to Washington.
|
Re: Week 17
So if Seattle wins we play them?

This.. Seattle is looking good. Don't want to see them. |

If Seattle and GB win, we play Seattle. If GB loses, we play them no matter what. IF Vikings and Seattle lose, we play Vikings. |
Re: Week 17
Arizona - go fu*k yourselves!!!
Aikman - Geez, you are in love with the Seahawks. Get a room. He literally wants to make sweet love to them. |

Re: Week 17
If we play Seattle, Lockett scares the crap out of me! We tend to give up big returns at bad times. Any time in the playoffs is a bad time.
C'mon Vikings! |
Re: Week 17
Go Vikes. SF ur boys are getting smoked!
|
Re: Week 17
What's going on with arz??
|
Re: Week 17
Clearly Arizona's players had no intentions of trying to win. Getting embarrassed.
|
Re: Week 17
Damn....Seattle is ripping Arizona
|
Re: Week 17
Right now the seahawks and redskins are the 2 hottest teams in the nfc playoffs. Well Carolina too I suppose
|
Re: Week 17
Seattle looks good but I still don't buy them being unbeatable in the playoffs.
There have been some truly awful calls on a couple drives today. That non-call on Palmer's INT where the CB straight up grabbed Fitzgerald and stopped his route. How about Sherman sticking his finger in officials face to argue a call, no flag. Then the obviously block in the back and no call by Sherman. Seahawks are good, but they can be beaten. I am not sure why Sherman seems to be on the field jawing on every single play even when he isn't in on the play. He always manages to end up in the mix to run his mouth. I don't want to hate on the guy but I just don't see 90% of other players not getting flagged for doing the same kind of thing. On redskins post game they are saying the Vikings winning tonight puts Green Bay in Washington next week regardless of Seattle winning this game. Is this true? I was of the thinking that if Seattle wins they come to DC regardless of what happens tonight? |
