Jones really reverted back to his butter finger bologna today. That fumble down close was just bad.
Grant needs to be released asap.
Cousins played well. Crowder is awesome. The D played damn well enough to win, after Norman went out Stafford owned us. Breeland is not the answer opposite Norman. He might be the biggest disappointment on the team thus far.
Vernon Davis had a huge game.
Please let there be good news on TW, and Norman. Without those two for any extended period of time will be hard to overcome.
Losses are always tough, but this is far from the end of the world.

Kirk was great in the 4th , very impressed. The fumbles killed us, the only legitimate loss was Pittsburgh. We are still a 8,9,10 win team.

Why is Robert Kelly not getting more carries?

The dude is the best 1st and 2nd down runner on the team and it isn't even close.

Thought CT looked good today. But yeah Kelly needed to be in there at times.

Joe Barry you're right back on the hot seat. That last drive was horseshit. Stop playing zone you stupid ass idiot. I can deal with losing if you're trying to knock the QB off his spot. Getting paper cut down the field is inexcusable.

I'd put Kelly in as the starter. Not cause of the fumbles, but because he looks like he has better vision, runs low and gets behind his pads, has more wiggle and runs violent. He just looks like a better pure runner. Jones for such a big strong guy kind of runs high and timid.

Didn't look good with 71. But 79 can get the job done. Norman will hopefully be ok.

Breeland looks like a back up at best.

Lions didn't beat us, we beat ourselves. It was one of those days were we didn't play well and luck wasn't on our side. Thompson, Crowder, Davis played well. Where was Cravens? Everyone says Djax is great and need to be resigned, haven't seen anything from him the last 3 weeks.

This team is 100% pure garbage. We snatch defeat out of the hands of victory. I give up. We probably don't win another game this year. I'm so sick of this. I'm not supporting these losers anymore.

Can we finally get rid of the garbage which is Ryan grant? FFS, this guy has done nothing.

Jamison Crowder is awesome. Chris Thompson is fuckin awesome

Pure disappointment in the first half of the game with the offense. Completely garbage by the staff and the execution.

Grant has to be released. I do not think the staff or execution was garbage, we missed a fg, and Jones coughed it up on the 3? Thats ten points rite there....shit happens. Luckily we just won 4 in a row. 4-3 is certainly in the mix still. Regardless of what Super fan Skins 1980 thinks....

Can you not post again until we get that win?
Edit: you need to take a deep breath man. We are 4-3. 2-1 in the division. It is ok.
You were talking the same doom and gloom last week before the win, and the week before that. 95% of your posts are just negative crap. Which would be fine if we lost 95% of our games. I mean listen to yourself. You doubt we will win one more game? Holy crap. Id swear you were a troll if I didn't know better.

I am sure the loss of your support will be a crushing blow to the team.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Re: Skins lions post game

If you told me Detroit would only score 20 points, I would tell you we won the game. If Jones didn't fumble and we didn't miss a FG, that's at least 23 points and a win.

Just too many mistakes to win a game.

Jones is going to fumble himself out of an NFL career. His ceiling isn't high enough to keep around if you can't trust him to hold onto the football.

Re: Skins lions post game

As somebody said, we aren't a bad team, but we certainly aren't one that can overcome turnovers and mistakes. Offense only scoring 3 points in the half is mind boggling. You can't play 3/4 of the game shitty and expect anything good.

I still find Joe Barry inadequate. The man has no balls. Going prevent defense is only going to prevent you from wining. Stick with what has been working and let your players play. Period. I'd rather them get burnt deeped playing their defense than to give up this kind of loss with a "prevent" defense. The sad thing is, he's going to do just enough to keep his job so he's retained next year. Personally, I don't see Gruden or Barry taking us deep in the playoffs. This isn't me advocating Gruden be fired, but he still hasn't shown me much.

One of the reasons why Gruden hasn't shown me much is because players like Matt Jones is still playing. Had this been Bill Belichek, Jones would be inactive the next 2-3 weeks and probably moved to third string. You got to have discipline on this team, but it's high time we bench Jones and make him inactive. He's had his many chances, it's time to move on now.

I didn't get to watch the game- I was riding in a car following via the ESPN app. Let me guess they went into "prevent" D with 1:05 to go in the game and let the other team march the field in 45 seconds and win?

Stafford with all day to throw is damn good. Stafford under pressure is prone to make mistakes. More so than the overall QB average.

Should've sent pressure on the last drive. That being said Detroit only scored 20. The offense and special teams lost this game.

Because the Redskins lost a good game. They didn't go out there and whine, and moan, and throw temper tantrums like you are doing.
You are completely ignoring the fact that we have a winning record. It is just extremely apparent that you are one of those people that Debbie Downers every pre game thread, but only posts after a loss. It is just a little depressing....

If we don't make the playoffs, this is a game we'll look back on. Detroit is an average team. With our schedule, we need to win these type games. Hate having to play in London. This is now one of our biggest games of the year and it has to be played overseas.

Cousins 30-39. 301 yards. 1 Td on the ground, and one in the air. We ahould have won 27-20. Mistakes cost us. Namely mistakes by Grant and Jones. Anybody who has anything bad to say about KC doesn't realize what we have.

He played well. 2 bad plays though. Trying to hand the ball off when falling down leading to turnover and short hopping the throw with 16 seconds left.

Yeah the handoff was sketchy, but Jones still should have had it. As for the throw at the end I cannot really fault a guy for a desperation throw that falls a little short. The 30 second drill can make a lot of qb's look hurried.

Ton of parody in the league this year. There is New England and everyone else split into two groups - contenders and pretenders. We are contenders.
Minnesota lost today, so did Atlanta. They were the world beaters in the NFC until today. We can play with anybody that much I know.

Yeah, it was a tough throw, but you need to hit that.

I'm still on the fence about signing him to expensive long term deal. Right now I'm 55% for and 45% against. Would like to be much more confident than 55%. But a few weeks ago I was at least the opposite way on that. So he's trending up for me.

I would not play Matt jones again..he sucks! everybody sees it...he is a 230Lb back who runs scared..plus his fumbles cost us. Ryan Grant is in over his head also ..I would cut him..time to move on from players like this. Cousins played fine,Chris Thompson played lights out..players were out there hurt trying too win..and you got clowns like Ryan Grant out on the field..WTF ..Jones will NEVER be a player you can feel good about..Time to move on from these type players. To my eyes Kelly looks way better than Jones. Do you guys really think Jones is the main back?

KC played a really good game today. He played well enough for us to win. I can't put the fumble all on him but he has the ball in his hands and probably should have just ate it. But regardless of that, he got the team down the field and gave the defense a 4 point lead with a 1:00 left.

Grant mentally was not ready to play today. Put Ross in there and see if he can do any better.

I could see us legitimately ending up with anywhere from 7-10 wins.

I predicted 11-5 before the year. I drank a bit too much kool-aid.

Thing is, we are an average team as well. Against other average teams like Detroit and Philly, we will win some lose some. Anybody who thought that 4 game win streak made us a great team was bound for disappointment, we're not top tier yet

Agree on Cincy, we need this game in order to stay above .500 going into the Minnesota game. And it's definitely winnable
