NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

SAT GAMES

Tenn@KC 4:35 PM

I cant see the chiefs losing this one at home, in fact I think it's a blowout

KC 30 Tenn 17

ATL@LAR 8:15 PM

Love the Rams this yr, that offense will be too much for the Falcons to handle.
Rams 33- Falcons 27

Bills@jAGS Sun 1pm

Jags win a snoozer 20-14

Car@NO 4:40 PM

Saints at home for me.
27-24

Rams or Vikes all the way, I be happy with either winning the SB.

Rams Vikings and Bills are my top 3. I think a Rams Vikings rematch for the NFC title would be great.

I'd like to see Min or LA win it all, someone different but I'm sure it'll be NE again.

CRedskinsRule 01-02-2018 04:54 PM

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

I think NE is at the end of its run. The OC AND DC are going to be gone as a head coach somewhere. Brady isn't the same even he is still top 10. And Bill was handing out backup QBs like a Milf at Halloween.

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

I'd like to see the Rams or Vikings take it for the NFC, or the Jags/Chiefs/Bills win it for the AFC, but who are we kidding? It'll probably be the Pats again.

I’ll believe it when I see it. Feels like people have been predicting/hoping for the demise of the Patriots for years. Somehow they keep reinventing themselves and winning. And honestly in the AFC they have as good a shot as anyone.

Plus they play in a horrible division yearly which helps a ton.

LOL, so no one here is taking the Eagles???(only joking)

I think it will be a Vikings-Saints NFC and Pats -Jags AFC

Pats beat the Saints in the Super Bowl.

Would love to see Rams/Vikes in NFCCG. Pats/Pitt in AFCCG. A close SB between Rams/Vikes and Pats would be fine by me.

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

I can't wait for the Eagles to lose. I live in Eagles country and these fans around here are the absolute worst when the Eagles are good. They are incapable of objectivity.

When Wentz got hurt I celebrated. Literally celebrated. Can't wait for Vaitai to give up the edge and for Foles to give up the sack fumble that ruins their season.

Whatever else happens, I don't care. I just can't wait to watch that happen and then turn on talk radio and listen to grown men crying.

skinsfaninok 01-04-2018 09:53 AM

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

Eagles are done, they weren't going with Wentz IMO any way but surely not now

I thought they would at least get there. Beating Brady or the Steelers is a tall order but I at least had them getting there.

Now, no chance. Foles can't convert a 3rd down.

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

I’m still laughing over Dungy and Harrison basically blowing off the injury to Wentz as no big deal and they could still win the SB with Foles. Please.

I remember watching them make those comments and I nearly lost my mind. I was like do you assholes even watch football?? Carson Wentz's stats on third down have been unreal, and if you watch the games it's because he extends plays by shaking dudes off and throwing on the run like he's Aaron Rodgers.

You think suddenly statue Foles is going to be able to do the same thing??

Rodney was a damn good player but man he is horrible as a tv guy, I can't stand hearing him talk. Dungy isn't much better. SNF cast sucks

They offer 0 excitement or passion and they both hate the Redskins. Bad combo. Then for the game you get stuck with Collingsworth. Its awful all around on SNF.

I def found myself watching less this yr, I think with all of the social media outlets out there and streams, people realize they can catch the games or highlights anywhere now..

I still watched all of the Redskins games, but hardly watched any other football unless there was a game I could turn on while doing chores around the house.

I wonder how redzone factors in, unless it’s the Skins I rarely watch another game. Just redzone.

I would like to see these numbers unpacked some well. I don't doubt people are tuning out, and the politics is having an influence. I just wonder by how much.

I also watch RedZone more than anything because once Hanson puts that quad box up it's hard not to get steamed up.

I would bet online streaming has had a lot to do with the % being down as well. A very, very, good friend of mine, which shall be named nameless has watched many Redskins games online in High Def.

College Football numbers were up like 12% across the board and like the article says, NBA up big time.

This or as I said before I just watch the NFL highlights( about 15 mins worth) of the game on "on Demand"on Monday ,they have every game played that weekend.

I did watch the entire Georgia /Oklahoma game but I am not a big fan of college football. I did walk down to the local HS (where my kids went) and watched a couple of games during the season that was fun.

Every sport or league had it's HIGH's and LOW's and the NFL is no different. They are still my top sport too watch but I can see why others are getting tired of it.

Nope, to me it's just another hit piece on the Patriots .People who hate the Pats and are jealous of Brady will always find something to bitch about but whatever Belichick is doing works. JG and Brady were decent buddies and did JG a favor with the trade,Pats couldn't swing Cap wise to keep him and Brady.

I am just happy they got "I won't say Redskins" Phil Simms off the broadcasts. His constant blabbering about nothing made me hit the mute button quite often. Romo also has diarrhea of the mouth but at least most of what he says is insightful.

Could it be? I don't want to get my hopes up lol. Sounds like Brady is betting on himself against getting injured, which is not a smart bet for a 40yo qb to make. If Alex Guerrero is the stake which will separate the greatest HC-QB combo in NFL history, I'll take it.

TB is getting old, he's the GOAT IMO but it's time to ride off, his ego won't allow it like Favre, Manning etc but don't go out like those guys did, yeah PM won the SB but he was awful in that game.

I was saying all year to Bills fans up here that they had just the right things go their way, that team really isn't very good but most games the ball bounced to them.. The Skins seem to have had the opposite.

In fact when was the last time a team made the playoffs while giving up more than they scored?
