Bucs Postgame
6-3
UGLY but its a win. OL was awesome, Bill Callahan is a damn wizard. Defense bends but doesn't break. Forced TO's all game . Norman shut down Evans . HTTR |
Re: Bucs Postgame
Great defensive effort. I thought they were outstanding...especially on the road.
Great job by the Oline. Cooper should have been on this team awhile ago... Great catch by Doctson for the td. Love ap grinding |
Re: Bucs Postgame
6 - 3 and leading the nfc. Tied for most players in IR, missing crowder, prich, and three o-lineman.
|
Re: Bucs Postgame
This was an ugly game with the least popular, most disliked players on this board being responsible for a win.
Alex Smith Josh Doctson Ryan Anderson Preston Smith These 4 were responsible for today’s win with key plays. Stroman Hopkins Way Norman Swearinger Also had nice games The negatives: Horrible tackling How the fuck do you let Fitzpatrick scramble like Fran Tarkenton? They could not get to him. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
This was a huge win, after having so many key players banged up, grinding this out was big. I hope Trent can come back soon though. Good job team.
|
Re: Bucs Postgame
Say what you will, that’s a legit bucs offense we just shutdown
|
Re: Bucs Postgame
Love it. I agree with Chico. I watched cooper hard and the dude is Bette than anybting we’ve had all year. Bucs defense was the worst but still. Great win.
|
Re: Bucs Postgame
Forcing turnovers is good. Not turning it over once is also good. That won the game.
I can enjoy the Cowboys/Eagles game now. Gotta root for Dallas. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
Browns smoked the Falcons. Lol. We got lucky as hell today. Bucs absolutely gashed us for over 500 yards. We couldn’t do dick. I know a win is a win, and that is great but this team does not represent its record very well. Fraudulent actually. I will probably have a glass or two of koolaid later but I am not going to over indulge again. What i will be excited about truly is how our offensive line played today. I cannot say enough about that group. That is something to be proud of as a fan. Cheers to that whole line.

Re: Bucs Postgame
Cooper going to turn into our permanent starter at LG?

When cooper was cut late camp-early season..I was like pick this dude up. But for some reason we keep a no name casy Dunn on the team instead....that’s bad roster management. Cooper is a solid backup guard |

What happened to that lockdown D we saw earlier this year? Also shouts out to Danny Johnson. They beat him like a rented mule. Keep him on the bench for forever, please and thanks. Also gotta give a shoutout to Callahan for working his magic. Offense didn't put up much points, but he did miracle work getting Cooper prepared for the game. |

I don't trust us to beat Philly. Not saying we can't but don't want to depend on it if we don't need to. If Dallas loses, that's still good. It's a win win, but I'm rooting for Dallas. |

As we've seen in all of our victories, having a ton of yards don't necessarily mean a win. |
Bucs Postgame
6-3 I’ll take it all day, haters can suck it

Agreed. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
Cooper was VERY solid in pass pro. I didn't see him on roller skates, getting blown up and on his back like Lauvao. Lauvao was on his back more than a Mia Malkova.

Re: Bucs Postgame
I'd rather give up 400 yards with 3 points any day. Smith was safe all day, the guy just doesn't turn the ball over. Yeah we got lucky some, but good teams get lucky. Yes it's ugly and yes AS is inconsistent but a win is a win

Re: Bucs Postgame
Didnt get to see the game. Was talking shit about the pass defense{and especially Norman}before the game,I dont know if I should eat my words or not?:confused?: Secondary was torched for over 400 yards but somehow Bucs only score 3 points{that seems like something the skins would do},so defense did something right.I've seen 1 highlight, and that was Norman interception at the goal line.Even though it looked like a horrible pass, badly over thrown,Norman was there and he made the interception,so kudos to him:biggthump
Still in first place, won with 3 backup off lineman, great team win. I still think Philly wiill overtake us by the end,but I will enjoy it while it last.I cannot root for Dallas to win, have too many Cowboy fans in these here parts that talk shit,I love to see them eat that shit:D |
Re: Bucs Postgame
Who cares about the yards 3 points is all that matters

McKinzy came off the street this week and got to the QB twice(one called back). McKinzey needs to be on this list. Ryan Anderson is improving every game. He needs more playing time. Doctson is trending in the right direction. F Preston smith. You are what you’re record says you are. This is a good win. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
F the Preston Smith haters he’s been playing well all year despite the sack numbers

No no no! Sacks are all that matters for edge rushers! |
Re: Bucs Postgame
Any win in the NFL, regardless of style points, is hard to come by. Sure, we have some glaring deficiencies but we have twice as many wins as losses...it's been a while. It's not pretty but I'm happy that we have finally have an identity. It ain't pretty but we know exactly who we are and you can win some games that way. Are we in the top tier as far as the Saints, Rams or Chiefs? Absolutely not, but we ARE 6-3. I also thought today's win was a gutsy performance and good bounce back from last week's embarrassment. Perhaps that says something about the character of this team....time will tell.

Re: Bucs Postgame
I think some people would rather lose pretty and lose versus look ugly and win. Any team can have an off day. Look at New England.
|
Re: Bucs Postgame
Cooper and McKinzy deserve a lot of credit for coming in and playing well all things considered.
Not sure what happened to McPhee. |

Also, winning is important. You don't get anything out of moral victories. If this team is able to complete a winning season and get to the playoffs, it'll be huge for team culture and the young key players we have. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
Josh Norman since the NO game has played very well. He's not elite anymore but he's damn good still

Browns winning just blows my mind. This league is so unpredictable. |

Re: Bucs Postgame
Norman is right, but I don’t think he completely understands the PTSD Redskins fans have from the past 25 years

Re: Bucs Postgame
Glad Preston smith finally made a play today and it was a big one

Re: Bucs Postgame
Fitzpatrick with the quietest 400 ever
